Ok but strong smelling

I got a green tea body butter form here that’s smells great. The Body Shop is somewhat expensive and many of the products have smells that are overly cloying and sweet. Back in the day it had more neutral scents, but overtime they have become more sugary and artificial smelling despite being natural.

Better get natural cosmetics for your money instead

The Body Shop has marketed their products as "natural" and "without animal testing" since forever and a day. However, it is L'Oréal- owned - a company that does animal testing for products sold e.g. in China. Looking at the ingredients, you can see that the products use mineral-oil based ingredients or even "liquid micro plastics" like PEG-100 Stearate, PEG-40, cyclomethicone, acrylate crosspolymer... Far from natural! Just cheap ingredients that can harm your skin and also the environment. Flushed down your shower drain, most microplastics cannot be filtered and eventually end up in the rivers and oceans, where they do not degrade and build up in animals living there.

Recommendation: Buy actual and controlled natural cosmetics with the "NaTrue" or "BDIH" label instead. They are available in most organic stores and even many drug store chains. Some are even much cheaper!

Products smell very good; expensive

Hand lotions, shampoo, etc. Stuff smells very good. Products w/o animal testing. It's expensive, though; a few steps away is another drugstore chain (on the same level of central train station) that sells also 'bio' products but is much cheaper.
