Great vegan breakfast - Edit
Awesome full vegan breakfast - hash brown, home cooked beans, mushroom, spinach, scrambled tofu on toast, roasted baby tomatoes, with vegan tofu. A few other options but I have had this both times. Served all day.

Decent brunch options - Edit
Beautiful location, super friendly staff and nice brunch options.
Read moreI've tried the avo smash with tofu and the big vegan breakfast - both really nice with big portions.
Their powdered chai is vegan and very nice, but note their sticky chai has honey. Have had one good coffee there and one pretty terrible one.
It's a nice option for brunch, though it's lacking in vegan lunch options - would be nice if there was one lunchy thing.
Definitely worth a visit - one of the best places I've eaten in Bendigo. Make sure you leave time to walk around the lake afterwards.

Expensive but worth it - Edit
Beautiful location inside and out. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious. It’s on the expensive side but the service and quality of food was worth it. Staff were knowledgeable about the vegan status of everything.

It’s all about the location - Edit
The vegan options on the menu have been reduced post-Covid, but vegetarians can eat well. The staff are great and there are tables outside and inside but all have views of Lake Weeroona. Walk off your meal with a quick circuit!

Yes looking at the online menu now the vegan options look like utter sh*t.

Best gnocchi ever!! - Edit
The vegan gnocchi was right up my alley. Best I've ever had! Loved it. Would be so nice with a glass of Chardonnay. The big breakfast was good but would be better with a 2 pieces of bread instead of 1, a hash brown and baked bean style beans, the beans were a bit Mexican style. But still a great brekkie.

Very pleasant surprise - Edit
Meeting friends we went to Boardwalk for coffee but seeing a few good sounding vegan options on the menu we thought 'why not?'
Read moreWe both had the big vegan breakfast and really enjoyed it. The baked beans were really lovely with a little kick to them. Wish we'd received two pieces of toast (the trend seems to be one is enough these days...but it's not!). Sadly the hashbrowns were not vegan as they are cooked in a shared fryer but at least the waiter was honest about that. So we didn't order that side. The coffee was really good and the atmosphere lovely. I thought being on the lake it would be 'all fur no nickers' as they say but it was good and tasty inside and out!
Pros: A few good vegan options , Lovely coffee
Cons: A little pricey but acceptable , 2 toasts please!

Delicious - Edit
We originally went for coffees with family and I wanted a vegan friendly, caffeine free option. I queried the chocolate powder they use for their hot chocolate's and they confirmed it's a vegan powder. Ordered it with coconut milk and it was delicious.
Read moreWe then decided to eat and I ordered the pumpkin bread, avocado smash on their special. I cannot get over how good the mushrooms were. It was so good. Highly recommended.
Pros: Plenty of vegan drink and food options., Vegan meals included in their specials, Staff are wonderful
Cons: Bit pricey

Delicious! - Edit
Delicious! I had the housemade potato waffle with mushroom medley, avocado, cherry tomatoes, kale and ‘cashew cheese’. They had a few different vegan options, all were clearly marked. Beautiful interior and view of the lake.
