Live Music, Beer Garden, Vegan Burgers! - Edit
For a rock music loving vegan such as myself, The Blue Bell is a dream venue! They regularly hold gigs here, and the pub has lots of music memorabilia from artists such as Motorhead, Janis Joplin, Black Sabbath, and Jimi Henderix.
Read moreThe entire menu is vegan and consists only of burgers and a couple of sides along with a small children's menu. I went for the 'Rage Againet The Mac-hine' with additional 'This Isn't Bacon Rashers' and a side of 'Spicy Mayo', and my friend had the 'Lynyrd Skynard'. Both of us upgraded our fries to 'Trufle Oil Fries with Shaved Parmesan'. The burgers were both great, but the fries could have done with a bit more of the toppings. The portion sizes were just right, and the staff were really nice too.
The Blue Bell's current lease ends in September, and the pub may not be vegan from that point on. I highly recommend vegans in or near Conwy visit this cool and comfortable pub whilst they're definitely operating as a vegan business!

Delcious vegan burger - Edit
Was thrilled to discover this place when looking for a vegan lunch in Conwy. Everything is vegan, with a long list of burgers to choose from. I went for a burger that had bean chilli in it. Not something I've seen before! Was delicious, would recommend.

We loved the food at this place. We went there four people, everyone finished their dishes even though they were very filling and you didn’t really feel hungry when half-way through.

Junk food heaven in a pub! - Edit
Fabulous choice of burgers, hot dogs, nachos and sides. Everything on the menu is vegan. Boards in the bar indicate which beers and wines are vegan. Lovely friendly staff, dog friendly venue, and a big sunny garden. Perfect.

Decent burgers - Edit
Great burgers. Really tasty. Portions a bit small for the price. Very limited gluten free options despite the menu implying they might have more. Really odd to still serve dairy milk with hot drinks.

The cheeseburger style burger with gherkins was amazing, so were the nachos (great cheese and guac). Food came quick and was reasonably priced.

It's surprising to find a vegan pub and it's very understated so we thought we'd wandered into the wrong place but staff were friendly and helpful and they serve decent vegan fast food with plenty of choice.

Are you a sausage connoisseur? - Edit
I am. I am always up for a good hot dog or sausage based dish and their hot dogs did not disappoint. The chips were some of the best I've ever had too.

Great little pub - Edit
I really enjoyed it here - from the outside it just looks like a standard pub however the inside is cosy (albeit a bit dark) and completely vegan which was not expected at all. We went in the afternoon and it was a nice chilled out atmosphere.

An unexpected find - Edit
Conwy is a beautiful and historic town, we were not expecting to find such a gem in its very centre, 2 minutes walk from the iconic castle! The blue bell was a wonderful experience after walking around the old town, and the food was delicious! The hotdog in particular was fantastic!
Read moreUnfortunately the soup came with a disappointing amount of bread, and the coleslaw was a little too crunchy! I’m not fond of the use of disposable plates and cutlery, but I expect this is from the impact of Covid!
Overall we were incredibly pleased with our experience, made more pleasant by the friendly service!
Pros: Fully vegan food menu, Beer 😄, Wonderful service
Cons: Disposable plates

Delicious food and in a pub in a gorgeous village - Edit
We had looked up our options before arriving in Conwy so we knew this was here but it’s still so surprising to go to a lovely tourist town and be able to eat. We noticed this place and it was in a gorgeous building. I was so excited to be able to eat everything. You order at the counter and I loved that the hotdogs all had band names. I chose The Mission with cheese. It was also served with fries. I asked about non alcoholic drinks and was advised of a cider (less than 0.05% alcohol). The cherry and berries cider was delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for something low alcohol. The hot dog was really tasty, just the right size and right amount of sauces. The fries were really crispy. Some of the nicest fries I’ve had. My partner had the Black Forest pancakes (delicious) and had fries too

Pub with vegan junkfood - Edit
You could compare it to the vegan junk food bar if you know it. Everything on the menu is vegan. They say they also look out for less waste but we were kind of suprised that the 'plates' and cutlery were throw-away. Not ecofriendly at all!

Super friendly staff, dog friendly, fully vegan menu & drinks list, indoor and outdoor seating, reasonably priced, free parking outside, fresh food, local produce, delicious food including a kids menu.
