Good choice

We had a very good meal. The vegan curry and vegetables was great and the sesame balls and cucumber sushi were also yummy. Good presentation of food. Service was good. Drinks were weak and not worth 10.00.

At least 2 tasty options!

Beyond burger was possibly not brand name, but tasty and definitely vegan. Veggie curry was delicious, cooked nicely, and large portion size. Chips were very good, but watch out for their fries, which all have asiago.

Vegan section of menu had 2 other items which we didn't try.

Wait staff was very friendly!

Pros: Have vegan burger, Good portion size on curry, Vegan section of menu, albeit small

Cons: Watch out for the fries

Best to bring your own food

Over the moon, had no vegan options. They customize the only vegetarian option for us. That was nice but the dish was awful. I wish I would had brought my own food…

Disappointed

I feel terrible leaving bad reviews but it’s our truth. There are no options in Ludington but this place so we thought with there being 4 options on the menu we’d give it a shot. First the service was terrible from the host to the waitress. And the food was just mediocre. The bun for the Impossible Burger was hard as a rock and the patty itself wasn’t fully cooked. The tempura vegetables were dripping in grease. The sesame balls on the other hand were outstanding. Maybe it was just a bad day to go.

Worth it!

It is soooo hard to find vegan options in Ludington, but this restaurant is vegan friendly and so tasty!

The reason for three stars though: our first time visiting, my dish had a piece of meat in it. Our second time, we ordered a vegetarian dish but asked for it vegan style (no egg or fish sauce) — yeah, you guessed it.

On the plus side, the sesame balls are yummy!

Actual vegan options!

Vegan food is hard to come by in Ludington, but even aside from that this place is worth the visit. It's only a few options, but they are tasty!

Definitely try the sesame ball appetizers!

Cons: Few options, Impossible burger, but no vegan cheese

Vegan Options, Hooray!

Venue and service were great. Menu has a dedicated vegan section, though just 3 items on it. As another reviewer said, the sesame balls were, in fact, DIVINE. I had the ratatouille, which we very meh - it was not a traditional ratatouille, it was broccoli, peas, peppers over sticky rice in a hearty marinara sauce. It was only OK. But there were VERY few vegan options in the area, so I was very happy to have one place that had food for me!

Pros: SESAME BALLS, Nice outdoor seating, Dedicated vegan section

Cons: Entree was meh

Best Vegan in Ludington

Dedicated vegan/vegetarian section on menu. Clearly labeled vegan items. They recently made the switch to Impossible from Beyond. Vegan Poke is very good (but a very small portion). Curry was decent (and a small portion as well), but arguably not really curry. Sesame balls are divine. They can make the Laotian Noodles vegan as well. Wish they served the whole vegan menu on their rooftop patio!

Pros: Creative Vegan Options, Unique, Modern Atmosphere , Beautiful Outdoor Seating

Cons: They don’t serve the whole vegan menu on the roof, Very small portions

One vegan option on the menu

The one Vegan option on the menu comes with pork belly. 👎🏼

The upstairs restaurant has one vegan option also: vegetable tempura roll.

Okay

Most vegan options are on the sushi menu. I tried the spaghetti with beyond "meatballs" on it but it was just a beyond burger on top of marina. The burger looked raw and tasted weird. There was a vegan sandwich available during the day and that was better than the spaghetti.

Pros: Nice staff

Cons: Expensive, Not many vegan options

One of our favorites in the area

There aren't that many restaurants in Ludington where one can get good vegetarian/vegan food, so we come here a lot :) They usually have 3 or 4 vegetarian entrees available, but they are not all listed on the menu - you have to ask for a separate menu or ask the server to specially tell you the veg features. This is the only downside to me, because when we are out with omnis it just makes me stand out more to have to ask specially for the veggie menu. Also, when we were there last, the hostess had no clue about the veggie menu when I tried to ask for it while being seated.

Sometimes they will also have one vegetarian pasta and one or two vegetarian/vegan salads or soups listed on the menu (the menu changes frequently though). Veggie sushi is almost always available which is great and we get it a lot. They have an outdoor/rooftop seating section in the summer which is fun, but to my knowledge the veggie options up there are pretty much limited to one vegetarian sandwich, a plain salad, hummus with pita and veggies, fries, and the veggie sushi. They used to also have a black bean burger but didn't have that this summer. Overall though the Blu Moon has the best and widest selection of veg-friendly food in Ludington.

Pros: Tasty veg food available

Cons: Have to ask for the veg options

Fantastic vegan dishes made to order!

We went to Blu Moon twice in December. The chef was friendly and very talented. I can't say enough about this place! Do not go to the Ludington area without trying it.

Pros: Excellent Food, Friendly Staff, Healthy Cuisine
