Went for a vegan hot dog, but none on menu as was stated on online review.
Read moreFirst time I’ve ever had poutine. Ate here because I was hungry, it was close and vegan. I would probably only eat here again for the same reasons. Cheese seemed like it was just sprinkled on, not really melted. Gravy was okay.

Sweet Gravy? - Edit
This place was fine, when I went the person at the til seemed to be confused when I asked for vegan poutine, as if they didn’t even know that was a thing (a common occurrence in Calgary unfortunately). When I did get my poutine the gravy was strangely sweet. Would eat here if friends chose it but not on my own.

Every time I visit my family in Canada we come here. They have vegan and gluten free options as well as all other types of poutine (pierogi, maple bacon, buffalo chicken). My family isn't vegan but they like the vegan poutine too!

The Big Cheese staff are very knowledgeable and were helpful to make sure your order is vegan.
Read moreUnfortunately, the food (for me at least) was not good, really mushy and uneventful. There are vegan options that are far more creative and cheaper in the area.
This is a costly option, and not really worth it.
Pros: Vegan friendly
Cons: Expensive, not super good food

Easy to veganize and staff is knowledgeable, but I'd like to see more options than vegan gravy and Daiya cheese. Also, seemed expensive for mostly fries.
