Great vegan option!

The 3 bean chilli and the locally made sorbets were delicious. They even have an allergy menu with labelled vegan options! Staff were so helpful and really friendly, and it was great to have such an easy time as a vegan in a small town. Will definitely return!

Pros: vegan 3 bean chilli and sorbets!

Improved (Includes Update)

Original (3 stars): A family outing called for a visit to this pub I called ahead to check if they served vegan options and they promised their three bean chilli was 100% vegan! When got there some of the servers were confused by what vegans were but the head chef and two of the servers did understand and I ended up with a lovely vegan chilli! It wasn't the best meal I have ever had but it was still good! It is nice to have a pub with a vegan option!


Update (4 stars): Now when you go and mention Vegan they hand you an allergen booklet and turn to a page titled vegan, pretty much all staff are now educated on veganism. They offer many vegan wines as well as vegan chilli, sizzling veggies and others. Now a great choice! No longer really need to call ahead.
