Amazing vegan options

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner in between Christmas and NY. Advised them in advance that I was vegan and they assured me they could cater for me so we booked dinner for both nights. They did not disappoint. Both times I had a choice of 3 vegan starters and 2 vegan mains. I chose starters of pickled beetroot and avocado terrine (fresh, light and deliciously tasty) and artichoke soup (absolutely divine creamy taste, my bf had it also and loved it) then mains of mushroom gnocchi and tomato and red pepper ravioli… both delicious and incredibly satisfying, large portions that I struggled to finish but did so as they tasted so amazing. The chef must be super talented as they said they very rarely get vegans but he did a wonderful job. They also offered me 2 vegan deserts (I was too full both nights) and was very happy with the vegan cooked breakfast I had each morning. They also got in oat milk and vegan yoghurt just for me. Can’t fault their attention to my needs, was totally happy and satisfied. Excellent standard of food, would love to go back.

Not Vegan Friendly

After ordering lunch of hummus and pepper sandwiches, having told the waitress we were all vegan, the food arrived with cream cheese stuffed peppers. The owner was very unprofessional and not pleasant about it, begrudgingly made some more, charged full price, which was a LOT. We all make mistakes but how we deal with them is important. The menu is traditional meat orientated. Will never go there again!
