Good but nothing spectacular

I went with my family for dinner. We split the mezza platter that comes with cauliflower, falafel, hummus, and baba ganoush. The platter wasn't very big; it's more for two people to split than three as it only came with two pieces of cauliflower and two pieces of falafel. I got the falafel salad for my meal, and I wish I had heeded the warning from another reviewer that they go heavy on the dressing. All in all, it was a solid meal, but there are improvements that could be made.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Indoor and outdoor seating

Cons: Heavy salad dressing, Pricy for portion size

Quality has gone downhill

I first went here in 2021 and got a falafel salad and french fries for less than $12 total- $8.95 for a salad, and $1.95 for fries. Today, the salad itself was $11, and had only 3 falafels compared to the 7 that the salad had in 2021 (according to my photo library). So, portions decreased, prices increased.

You previously were able to get the falafel platter made vegan (made with oil instead of butter) but the chef refused tonight. It was pretty disappointing as they had made the Kyle Mapp Special (made with oil instead of butter) vegan for me. Not exactly sure why they suddenly won't accommodate vegans beyond salad! :(

Overall, food and ambiance were good. Kyle Mapp Special was AMAZING. The salad had way too much dressing, but that's my fault for not asking for it on the side.

A treasure in our city

We LOVE The Beirut in Peachtree City. The hummus is outstanding! The Vege Kabobs are delicious. They are not always receptive to "special ordering" but ask anyway. Love the atmosphere and they have outdoor dining as well.

Good

Like one person said I don’t really have any complaints about this restaurant. They do know their stuff. I was only disappointed that they took my favorite meal off the menu. Other then that it was good. Staff is usually really good but the last time my husband and I went it was hard to get anyones attention except for the hostess.

excellent restaurant

The mezza platter is fantastic. Ask for extra grilled veggies and a side of their potatoes. Perfect!
