I absolutely love The Beach Hut. Well located and a good range of vegan options. I had a hot chocolate when I first arrived. There's a choice of hot chocolate flavours (I had the rocky road this time) and a choice of either vanilla or chocolate cream. I went back after lunch to try the new Lick dairy-free ice cream flavours. I had mint choc chip and cherry. Both delicious, but mint choc chip will always be the king of ice cream flavours for me. They also have Booja-Booja ice cream tubs, which I've enjoyed in the past.

We stumbled upon this place by accident and noticed the Northern Bloc ice creams listed before realising they were listed on an entirely vegan board.
Read moreOur son really wanted a Booja Booja ice cream in a cone, but they only came in pots. The lady was more than happy to serve up a single serve pot in a cone for him, and gave us the pots to scrape out ourselves afterwards (who would want to waste any?!).
Still has hot chocolate with vegan marshmallows on the menu. Our daughter had a new strawberry ice cream sandwich which looked great. Can't tell you how it tasted, though, as we didn't get a look-in. She certainly enjoyed it and we had serious envy.
Friendly service. Accepted card no issue. Easy to find location right at the bottom of the 199 steps.
