The tacos - Edit
I had the vegan nachos and tacos. Both were really good. I like that the pumpkin on the tacos was not cooked mushy and it was seasoned perfectly. The mojito was pretty good too!

Quality But Questions - Edit
There are a few vegan options (see items marked with a leaf on the menu). We tried the nachos, tacos, and dirty rice. Taco plate had 2 tortillas with a reasonable portion of predominantly chick peas and mix of other items. Good flavor. Nachos had a light cream with an intriguing flavor (tasted nut-based). Dirty rice was subtle but tasty.
Read moreStaff was very friendly and attentive. Price was basically what we would have paid for a silar meal in an LA casual restaurant.
View could have included a pleasant sunset if it wasn't for the clouds and sign. But there was a spectacular lightning show.
Now for the sign. It appears there have been disputes about the environmental practices of this restaurant. The sign presents the protest about their actions and advocates boycotting the restaurant due to sewage contamination. Based on this article from an advocacy organization ( https://www.latinorebels.com/2023/01/06/puertoricobeachenvironment/) the issue started years ago. I couldn't find a report that the issue has been resolved but the restaurant has a portable bathroom trailer on site, so maybe this is evidence of the restaurant seeking a solution.
Pros: At least a few vegan options, Tasty, Welcoming and responsive staff
Cons: Uncertainty about enabling bad practices , Limited dedication to vegan benefits

Delicious vegan options with great view of the water/sunset! - Edit
We ate an early lunch at the Beach House upon arriving to Rincón for the first time, and it was so good that we went back again the next day for dinner! Their vegan options are delicious, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Indoor and outdoor seating options with water views, great for watching the sun set!

Beautiful sunset dinner - Edit
This is a small inn with a busy restaurant and bar attached. We ate outside and watched the sunset.
Read moreThere were a variety of vegan options for me to choose. I got the vegan nachos and the Beach House salad. The nachos were great and loaded with toppings. The homemade cashew queso was very good, although I prefer it a little spicier. The salad was fabulous with mixed greens, red onions, and tomatoes, dressed with a great cilantro dressing.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and I hope to eat here again.
Pros: Several clearly labeled vegan options
Cons: No vegan desserts

Great food with a view - Edit
It's great to have a nice beachy place with a perfect sunset view and cocktails serve good vegan options! Waiter confirmed all the plant symbols meant vegan. There were vegan nachos for appetizers, warm kale salad with chickpeas, vegan wrap, falafel burger and vegan tacos for dinner, and vegan manposteao as a side. We were with a huge party and they accidentally gave my vegan nachos to the other end of the table that had ordered the beef ones. They obliviously ate them up with no complaints😉 They brought me another one and it was really good. I thought the cashew cheese was flavorful and not too salty but wished it just had more of it. I asked the waiter about the warm kale salad vs. tacos. He said kale for sure so that's what I got. It was a bowl of sauteed kale, sweet potatoes, fennel, and crispy chickpeas with a light vinaigrette. Quite yummy and nice to have a healthier option.

Best vegan & gf food on the island!! - Edit
I’d give the food I had here 5 stars if I could. My husband and I ordered the vegan tacos and vegan nachos and they were SO good! We’re from Chicago and some of the restaurants we’ve had there didn’t even compare!

Vegan tacos - Edit
I ordered vegan tacos that cost $12 and got only 2 tacos! They were dry, not loaded with ingredients, or that flavored. Cashew cheese was flavorless. Had to ask for a sauce to make them taste decent and less dry. My belly was not full by any means after eating the tacos and I'm a slim petite female. Overall, the tacos were a total rip off.

Great Food with a View - Edit
We found it perched on the top of a hill with great views of the water down below. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the vegan nachos were pretty good! I wish the toppings would have been layered into the dish so that you didn’t have a bunch of chips at the bottom with no toppings, but still tasty.

Veggie Tacos - Edit
Had the sweet potato veggie tacos. They were out of the vegan cheese for the nachos when I went (hopefully that means everyone is ordering them!) so I was bummed I didn't get to try them but the tacos were awesome.
