Incredible fresh food and lovely service - Edit
I had the banana blossom & chips, really fresh and clearly made to order. The blossom was *slightly* undercooked but really nothing too dramatic.

Left an honest review of my visit on Google and got called a liar by the owner .
Read moreFood was cold , overpriced , no pies were available. Ordered the vegan pasta and were told no leeks were available so they subbed it for a bit of onion. The pasta arrived cold and was more like a child's portion with the price tag of £18. Would never ever return.
The vegan options they have are adequate but the execution of the dishes are poor. Found the banana blossom quite greasy and it needed lemon or something to make it less bland .
Owner ignored my comments about the price and poor food and tried to make it about being vegan saying to check online at the menu before coming ??? I did do this and was excited to try what they had to offer. It's not my fault the food was rubbish and service was extremely poor.

Banana blossom fish and chips! - Edit
Outstanding location, excellent customer service, great selection of drinks. Food came quickly. Gods was gorgeous. Has a separate vegan/veg menu. There are vegan options for starter, main and dessert.

Excellent Vegan Options - Edit
Went for lunch as The Bay Horse has a vegan and vegetarian menu and is in a great location. Luckily the soup of the day was vegan so ordered two mushroom soups and two large banana blossom fish and chips.
Read moreThe food was excellent, the mushroom soup was full of flavour, the banana blossom fish and chips was the best I've had and I've eaten a few. The batter was light and crisp and our waiter mentioned they made sure it was made with vegan cider and soda water, hence how fabulous it was. We were too full for pudding, so next time I will have a small fish and chips. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely return to try other dishes. Highly recommended.

A good vegetarian and vegan menu with a nice variety and selection of choices. The food is tasty too. Staff are also really lovely and helpful.

My partner and I stopped in after a walk in the area and were delighted by the food.
Read moreWe went for mostly tapas, which included more “Mediterranean” type options like arancini. The goats cheese arancini were delicious, as were the salt & pepper halloumi fries. All the fried options were perfectly done, and not greasy (a pet peeve of mine!).
The vegan items we had were a side salad (simple, nicely seasoned and not over-dressed) and the carrot fritters. The carrot fritters deserve special mention - it was carrot and corn, nicely spiced, and again perfectly done.
I look forward to returning to The Bay Horse and trying more of their yummy vegetarian food!
