Unexpectedly good - Edit
Came to this pace after seeing reviews on here. The food was reasonably priced and they had a separate vegan menu. The choices were imaginative and the food was really delicious. I wasn’t sure if wanted dessert but ordered it because the main course so was delicious. I had the pineapple. It was gorgeous. The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. We have lunch on a Friday and have booked to return.

Varied and interesting - Edit
We had an early midweek dinner here after visiting the museum in Downpatrick.
Read moreThey have a seperate vegan menu, with a good variety of dishes. We had buffalo cauliflower and a veg pâté with sourdough to start, then shared the tagine and ended with raspberry frangipane tart.
Everything was beautifully presented and the pricing was fair for the portion size and quality of the food. The staff were really lovely and helpful.

Delicious separate vegan menu - Edit
There is a vegan menu with choices for starter, main and pudding. The setting is beautiful and rural. There are tables outside. Inside is spacious with a restaurant and a bar. Staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is rushed. We tried the pate and cauliflower for starters. Nut roast for main and the frangipani for pudding. Everything was beautifully presented. The flavours were amazing and the meal felt well balanced. There was a choice of sides for the nut roast. We shared seasonal veg and sweet potato fries. We both loved our meals and will definitely be back!
