Very little options - Edit
At 11 AM there was just one option. The bread was fine but there are better bakeries out there

Not many options but not bad if you need bread! - Edit
Only three vegan options when I arrived: a little focaccia, and two separate bread loaves (rye and French). No vegan desserts and as another reviewer wrote, there’s no special effort to make vegan products - these just happen to be vegan. The focaccia texture was nice but not much flavour - only a single piece of rosemary on top 😂
Read moreThere is 30% discount on certain items after a certain time in an effort to reduce food waste. It seemed to be put out just before 5:30 on a Friday when I was there. They forgot to apply to my order though and I forgot to correct them, I remembered again after the fact. Staff were nice.
There is a small seating area with a bank of single seats with plexi dividers, facing windows & a busy street. A speaker plays medium-level music.
Pros: Easy to find, Nice staff, Well labeled, easy to find egg/dairy-free options
Cons: Not many vegan choices, Seating area is utilitarian

Bread and cakes - Edit
It's on the East side of the building, facing the street. There's a big sign on the window saying "Hokkaido Breads"; perhaps it rebranded.
Read moreThere were three or so vegan European-style baguettes and at least one cake(bean paste filled) when I was there. There were likely more breads and cakes but that's what caught my eye. It's easy to identify what is and isn't vegan. Eggs and milk are listed.
Not sure what the other reviewer was complaining about. There's more choice in baked goods, even just counting bread, than I've seen elsewhere in Japan. Perhaps there used to be vegan bread on every corner.
Pros: Crunchy bread, Not too expensive, A good few choices
Cons: Loads of packaging. Four bags for two items.

decent vegan bread - Edit
Allergens on the housemade goods are clearly labeled in English, which is nice. However the only vegan options were breads which you wouldn't expect to have egg or dairy in the first place. There were plain, raisin, and garlic breads and rolls. All of the sweets had dairy, and it didn't really seem like there was any effort being made to craft vegan options. I recommend nearby Genki Shop instead, where you can support an independent bakery which seems more interested in designing food with fewer allergens, rather than simply labelling the ones which happen to be in there.
