Sub-par Bagelry

I've tried them numerous times when craving bagels and they've always disappointed. In fact it's made me seriously consider opening a rival bagel shop on more than a few occasions. They do not make NYC style bagels. They're bagel shaped, the crumb is not flavorful or dense. Typically filled with large air pockets and expensive to boot.

Cons: Expensive , Disappointing quality standards

Good bagels in New Haven

The bagels are good, probably the best in New Haven itself. But we usually drive out to Shef’s or head to New York to bring bagels home to freeze. Overpriced. Wish they had tofutti!
