Good vegan option - Edit
They have a meatless sausage plate and you can ask for the vegan saurkraut (They have both a vegan and non-vegan option.) The beer battered mushrooms are vegan (without ranch) and I had them with spicy mustard. Very tasty. The sausages were good and paired well with the fries and kraut. The waitress was very sweet, knowledgeable, and helped me figure out what was vegan or not. For example, the German potatoes are not vegan. I recommend this place if you're looking for a typical Fredericksburg experience or hanging with omnivores.

Tasty Vegan Sausgae - Edit
This was the only place I found in Fredericksburg that had a true meatless protein option, which is really appreciated! We had the meatless sausage plate and replaced the buttered corn for green beans ( make sure to specify no butter). They also had an appetizer of hummus with some pita bread, celery and carrots. The sausage plate is served with a dinner roll that I am not sure is vegan so be aware of that. Overall good service, the sausage was tasty and so was the beer!!!

Cons: Limited to one entree

Vegan sausages! - Edit
We sat in the Biergarten. I had the plant based sausage plate - which was 2 beyond or impossible sausages, I wasn’t sure which. They do have vegan sauerkraut which does not use chicken broth. The French fries are cooked in the same fryer as all the meat that is fried - so I didn’t get those. Limited options, but as others have said you can definitely fill up on what they have. Staff were friendly and helpful. Waitress was knowledgeable about vegan options.

Good place to take your carnivore friends - Edit
The meatless sausage plate is two sausages. The sides that come with it are tricky because the sauerkraut is cooked in meat broth and the mashed potatoes are premixed with butter. However, if you pair the red pepper hummus with the meat plate and ask for a side of fries, you can eat well alongside your carnivore friends.

Cons: Could do more vegan friendly sides at least

The waiter made this place great! - Edit
They have a limited option for vegans, but when I chose the Meatless sausage and then asked for dairy free sides he was on top of it!
