Lords of the Wild Wood

We stopped in here when visiting Glastonbury because we saw the signs advertising vegan pizza. I originally couldn’t find it on HappyCow because although the cafe is inside the assembly rooms it is called Lords of the Wild Wood.
The staff were very friendly, the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. We each got a vegan margarita and really enjoyed it!
They also offer jacket potatoes with vegan cheese and beans, soup with a bread roll, Tarka Dahl and loads of cakes, all freshly made!

Pros: Mostly vegan options , Friendly staff

Cons: Cash only

Cheap and cheerful

£5 for a plate of falafal-filled pitta and a variety of accompaniments which you pile up on your own plate as high as you like. Small, down at heel, but friendly atmosphere, good value for money, and great food.

Pros: Cheap, good food, friendly

Cons: Cold in winter, small, scruffy

nice falafel,but,,,,

I really enjoyed this, my partners comment began as the review title does, the thing is the choice of salads was very pickled, several of them but mainly pickled. Fantastic value however, certainly very filling.

Pros: good portions

Cons: pickletastic
