Absolutely Appauled
I arrived to the pub as part of a hen do, walked in and I'm not exaggerating, 3 seconds later (I had not even sat down) I was ushered out by the "security gaurd". He very rudely said he was throwing me out because I had apparently had cocaine on me. I asked what he was talking about and if he was joking, and he snapped back and said he "knew how to spot my sort" as he'said been doing the job for years. Clearly he doesn't know how to do his job because I was literally innocent, had nothing on me, have never done drugs in my life. When I asked why he thought I had drugs, he replied that someone had "phoned him and told him I had drugs". Utter nonsense. I asked why he thought I had drugs and he just snapped back that he "wasn't going to tell me". He said he'd call the police and have me searched and I said that was absolutely fine because obviously I was innocent. My family then arrived for the hen do but we changed venue as this "man" was not letting me in the pub. No explanation or apology offered, I think he just saw me (female) in stereotypically 'male' clothing, knew I was gay and threw me out. There was no no reason for him to suspect I had any drugs on me, I was polite, compliant and had zero alcohol in my system. Their loss, it was a hen party of 20, glad we didn't waste our money there. Disgusting.
