OK

Had the Vegan platter. It had lots of dishes, but most were quite bland and there are better Ethiopian options in Melbourne.

Pros: Wide variety of lentil dishes

Cons: Greasy / oily

Friendly and delicious

The vegan platter for one is huge, easily feed two people, and the two person platter would fill three easily.
Super nice people.
The injera bread is deliciously sour.
Prices are fair. Just order the platter and leave happy.

Was ok, much nicer food years ago.

I hadn’t been in many years, and was a little disappointed in the food. We had the vegan platter. The injery bread was very sour and some of the side dishes were a little dry. Some were quite tasty though, and the space and the staff were very nice.

Pros: Nice place , Nice staff

Cons: Injery bread was way too sour

Vegan platter

We went here the other night and had the vegan platter for 2. We asked for it to be mild, as neither of us really eat chili. Firstly, the staff were so friendly. We had a wonderful waiter who was very efficient and polite, and had the best smile. Plus on top of that the food was amazing. Fresh, tasty, and a good variety on the platter. We live 40km on the other side of town, but we will definitely travel to go there again. Loved it

Pros: Food, Staff, Setting

You'll have to make a booking

This place is often booked out. Although I have been a number of times, I find it hard to go past the vegan platter: a selection of curries, salad on injera bread. I love the variety and being able to share a platter - we often have four of us eating from the same platter. Such an experience.
Service is friendly. Nice decor and great place to catch up with friends. They do have outdoor seating as well, which is utilised a lot in the warmer months.
Reasonably priced too.
Definitely recommend.
