Quirky, no-frills Viet Shop and Take Away - Edit
It's a cute Vietname store and Take Away place. A bit confusing my first time in there, as all customers and staff were Vietnamese and a lot of things are not listed in English. If you are visiting Sacramento I definitely recommend having some Vietnamese food as there's such a Vietnamese presence here, it's part of the Sac experience! I recommend first trying Hương Sen Tofu, which is actually 100% Vegetarian & has better offerings and is right across the street. If that place is closed, then try Thanh Son Tofu. Thanh Son Tofu was fine, I was just a bit overwhelmed with the choices and I didn't know what a lot of things were. Be careful, not all tofu is vegan or even vegetarian! Some of the tofu has pieces of animal flesh. I explained to the employee that I am vegan and she was happy to help me find a few things. Great prices on excellent quality tofu! Also I loved the mung bean sticky rice cake! It's definitely worth popping in if you're in the area. It's an experience for sure!
