Great Food!!! Lots of options

Food was great, service was amazing, super quick to get food.
If you enjoy spicy food make sure you go for a spicy option as the fried rice with vegan chicken I got was very mild but still very good!

Delicious flavourful Thai food 😋

It was a delight to go there for dinner! The portions were huge but I couldn't stop eating because it was so yummy 😋 The cocktails were gorgeous too 👌🏾

Don’t feel like your stuck for choice

I’ve eaten here twice now and both times I’ve been pleased with the range of choices and the quality of the food.

Pros: Good vegan range of choices, Everything clear marked on the menu, Staff understand the word vegan

A disappointment

We ordered the mixed starter which turned out to be deep-fried vegetables which all tasted sort of the same. I then took the red curry main which was WAY hotter than expected based on their own menu system of heat. Could hardly finish it. Also ordered a jasmine tea, the waiter said they only had “green jasmine”, which I said was perfect - however, I got “regular” Green tea (no jasmine). Would not recommend.

So many options!

Tasty Thai food with the ability to select for most dishes whether you want veg/tofu/seitan. Love the flexibility. Quick service.

Great thai food

Great thai restaurant in the heart of Oxford. In most dishes you can choose a meat substitute like tofu or mock chicken. I believe they don’t have a seperate vegan menu anymore, but it really doesn’t matter, as there is a lot to choose on the main menu. We had the “sharing stack” for two, which gives you a pad thai, curry and sweet and sour veggies with a rice of choice. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the staff was super friendly. Would go again.

Loads of choice

So much choice for vegans. Everything we had was delicious and there was plenty of it. Friendly staff. Took quite a while for the food to arrive but worth the wait. Good value for money.

Lots of options!

Most of the dishes on the menu can be made vegan with tofu instead of meat! They also do a plant based chicken which I didn't try. I had the tofu pad thai which was delicious and a really good portion and also some really crispy, tasty dumplings.

Lots of options are cooked with egg so remember to say that you want the dish vegan so that remove the egg as well as using the tofu.

Pros: Lots of vegan options if you like tofu, Clearly labelled on menu, Good portion sizes

Cons: Service was a little slow

Great plant based chicken dishes

Nice atmosphere and decor. Grabbed myself a plant based chicken massaman curry, which was banging 😍🔥 starters and drinks were also nice and not too pricey. Only reason I give a 4 star is because my friend didn't get the thing she ordered 😬 and they were out of my coconut milk (the GOAT drink)

Pros: Lots of tofu and vegan chicken dishes

Cons: Quite expensive, Not brilliant service but not bad

Excellent vegan range and helpful staff

Excellent vegan range (on a separate menu). We had a vegetable gyoza starter, then a tofu pad Thai, and tofu with cashews mushrooms and rice. We both had mango sticky rice for pudding.
The starter was wonderful, as was the pudding. I would dine again just for the pudding! The tofu in both mains wasn’t very well cooked, and tasted rubbery and bland, but they were still nice.
The staff were very helpful throughout; once aware of my intolerances and being vegan they were careful to serve us correctly. My boyfriend made a small complaint and they took the dish off our bill. Combined with a student discount this made our meal very cheap!

Pros: Lot of vegan options which are varied, Reasonably priced , Friendly, helpful staff

Cons: Loud music

Mixed up our dishes, served me meat!

Went with my partner. She ordered a pork starter, I ordered a veggie one. Despite checking with the waiter, they mixed up our order. They didn't charge us for starters, but I lost my appetite

Pros: Quirky interiort

Cons: Careless staff

Happily surprised!

Thaikhun is a Thai street food restaurant. The place is very weird, if not funny! It’s full of questionable objects and odd things piled up on the walls, road signs hanging from the ceiling and vintage appliances. It really feels like an indoor market rather than a restaurant! The menu has many options for celiac, vegetarian and vegan customers.
The fried corn cakes with a sweet-sour sauce are super spicy and yummy, once you start eating them, you will probably end up asking for more. Their stir-fried rice with vegetables and crispy tofu is a must-try. The dish is served on a very simple plate, the type that everyone has at home that you can easily microwave. not very Instagram friendly to be honest. The tofu is deliciously crispy on the surface and the vegetables are lightly steamed to be crunchy as well. Everything is really tasty and spicy.

Pros: good food, full of V, VG, GF options, affordable

Cons: really spicy, long wait
