So Tasty! - Edit
We go to a dentist down the road, however in the past we hadn’t found great food in the area… until now… I don’t know how we didn’t know about this before, but now I’m looking forward to our next cleaning!! The food was VERY good and our waitress was so friendly!!!

SO MANY VEGAN OPTIONS - Edit
At Thai Orchid almost every dish has the option of being made with tofu or tempeh, with the rest of the dish being naturally vegan featuring a variety of coconut milk based curries. The mock duck dish is super decadent. The owners take requests seriously and actually understand that if you say “vegan” that it INCLUDES omitting fish sauce from any of the scratch in house made sauces.

I tried this Thai Orchid on our way home from Great Wolf Lodge. They serve any dish from the menu vegan as long as you make them aware of your dietary choices when ordering. I tried the vegan pad Thai with seasoned tofu and vegetable spring rolls. The food was cooked fresh, deliciously fresh, it was very tasty! 4⭐
Read moreThe staff was very friendly and patient. The restaurant was very organized and clean. You have the option to dine inside, outside or order carryout. The prices are pretty reasonable. I'd say if you are in the area, give them a try and let us know about your experience. Seitan was delish - Edit
Found ourselves in the area for dinner and wanted something quick and filling. Ordered takeout. Order taker was super nice and ordering vegan was so easy. A lot of the menu is or can be made vegab. We ordered veggie spring rolls, pad thai with tofu, and a sweet and sour stiry fry with seitan. I think they make the seitan in house because it was really tender and delicious.

Solid Thai food with vegan options - Edit
It was a solid option for us! We got the drunken noodle and the massamun curry, both with tofu. Menu well marked and said right on it that the restaurant is veggie and vegan friendly. Food was decent. My five and two year old both loved the curry.

Drunken noooodles! - Edit
Their drunken noodles are so good. I get them without the egg but add tofu and seitan. They have a lot of vegan options but that’s by far the best to me.

Lots of vegan options - Edit
Very cute restaurant. We ordered our food to go but they have a seating area inside. Staff is very nice and accommodating to vegans. The food was very good, although the portion sizes were a tad small. They have a Asian market next door that has lots of vegan options as well. It's newer and very nice inside.

Planned a trip to the Poconos a few weeks in advance and the entire time I worried I wouldn’t have any options. Was lucky to find Thai Orchid, where apparently anything on the menu could be veganized. I had the Massaman curry with seitan and thai iced tea. Both were delicious. The curry tasted exactly like the massaman from my favorite Thai restaurant and the tea was creamy and tasty

Amazing food - Edit
Authentic Thai food, sit down or take out. They do serve meat but any curry & rice dish can be made vegan easily with your choice of tofu, tofu nuggets, or seitan. My favorite dish is the evil jungle curry!

Our local favourite! - Edit
This place never disappoints. Thai Orchid is our favourite local place. Their food is excellent and they have many veg/vegan friendly options. Very friendly staff as well. The owners also have the 9th Street Asian Market which is also wonderful. Definitely a gem, especially in our area which doesn’t have too many veg/vegan friendly options at all.

Thai Orchid - Edit
In a town with such limited vegan options, it was nice to visit Thai Orchid and get such a great, filling, vegan meal. The portion was large, and they had tofu and another vegan "protein" option for many of the dishes, so we had quite a large selection of menu items to choose from. The staff was friendly and accommodating. You can sit down and order dine-in, or get take-out. We got take-out and were satisfied with our meal.

Friendly and tasty - Edit
This small Thai restaurant has an extensive menu of vegan fare. The pineapple stir fry was awesome, as were the tofu curry samosas, and Thai iced tea with coconut milk. The tofu in the dish was unflavorful, my only complaint. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful and made some very tasty suggestions.

I'm camping in Poconos for the month. I've already been here twice. Great options for vegans and when my nonvegan family visited, they loved it too.

A nice little place. My boyfriend and I stopped in since we saw they had vegan options. We ordered the Thai iced tea with coconutmilk. Just don't eat the rice cakes they bring out they have shrimp in them, I learned this after I had eaten a few. Got the mock duck in r3d curry which was fantastic and my boyfriend got the drunken man with Tofu! Delicious food and a good experience!

Found this place on Happy Cow while driving down the highway in the middle of nowhere in Pennsylvania. What a treasure! They have seitan and mock duck as well as tofu, totally prepared to feed vegans. Also, they have lots of different vegan dishes, not just one or two.

Good and spicy - Edit
They really do make the food from scratch so it takes a little longer. But it is very good. The only thing you have to watch is the spice. Their medium is most people's push toward the spicy side. I love green curry and order it all the time. In this place, I ask they take it down a notch. Mock duck is very good. Portions ok.

Cons: Little spicy, No atmosphere, Portions not very large
