Dirty

I would not go back to this restaurant. I'm shocked if it even met the health code it was so awful the night. I do understand there can be nights this was just way beyond what would allow me to give them a second chance.

Thai!

They have many vegan options and they are clearly labeled. Many options I wish were vegan unfortunately couldn’t be made vegan because they use shrimp paste in the sauces. I got a dish that was cabbage broccoli and peanut sauce with rice and it was okay but I didn’t love it I’ll be trying something different next time

Very flavorful vegan Thai food in Salem!

Having watched a number of Thai places in Salem come and go over time, Thai Orchid has remained and seemed to have gotten better, especially for vegan options. The curries, a pumpkin and a peanut, were both really flavorful, rich and filling. You can tell the quality of ingredients is higher than many Thai restaurants. The staff was very vegan-knowledgeable, as well. They cook vegetable/vegan items in a different fryer, which is fantastic. Had some really good fried avadado rings as an appetizer, and came with a good sauce I don't remember the name of, but was on the sweeter side.
Highly recommended, and nice to see lots of options here for good vegan Thai.

Pros: Rich and flavorful, Very vegan friendly, Seperate fryer for veg items
