Don’t listen to the older reviews

I went here really, really looking forward to a Massaman curry based on an image from an older review…but they no longer do it. In fact the number of options compared to what they used to offer has drastically decreased. I was so disappointed. The waiter did ask chef if they’d do a veggie Massaman for me but they said no.

The food myself and my wife had tasted ok, we just wished there was more of it! Hers was much less than mine and mine wasn’t exactly a lot. The only redeeming factor was the price to be honest.

Cons: Very few veggie / vegan options, Less options than in the past, Small portions

Ok food, crappy service

I was super pumped to try this place but overall was disappointed. The food wasn’t bad, but the service was TERRIBLE. Had to flag attention to order and to get the bill from the waiter who was literally standing in front of me on his phone. Had the Pad Thai.

Loved the food!

After let down of vegan place in the centre we went to Thai Market and it was the best idea! Loved salad, noodles and Sticky Rice. The only problem is the waitress do not speak much English but I had some phrases written down by a Vietnamese of 'no eggs, no fish sauce, no meat' which I showed them to make sure Pad Thai does not have any of those and it didn't.

Pros: Delicious food

Cons: Waitresses do not speak English

massive letdown!

I ordered sweet corn fritters and once I bit into it I realised something was wrong, turns out they are made with shrimp which was not told to me by the staff despite me explaining I was vegan (in viet).
The quality of the mammasan curry I got from the vegetarian menu was very bad, it was undercooked and tasteless. As someone who loves Thai food I was very let down.

Pros: vegetarian page on menu

Cons: food contained shrimp 🤢, quality of vegetarian food was bad

Deserving of five stars

The food and service are worthy of five stars, although this is not possible due to Happy Cow’s rating policy which prohibits five star ratings for restaurants that do not serve food that is exclusively vegan/vegetarian.

Although we were initially sceptical of the restaurant due to reviews online, the food was delicious and very flavourful. After spending a considerable amount of time in Thailand, it is often difficult to find food outside of the country that holds any likeness to the rich flavours of Thai cuisine. Thai Market, however, is as close a likeness as we have found in Danang and is well worth a visit.

Recommend the Massaman Curry and Thai-style tea.

Tasty food as in Thailand

Green curry was very nice. Good variety of vegetables. Quantity of coconut milk was below the avg. so next time I asked them to put some more and it was great. Red Curry and papaya salad were tasty too. Sticky rice portion was diminute. Steam rice is OK. Good lemongrass drink. wooden seats. Nice atmosphere.

Pros: Good variety for vegans, Fairy nice place (not fancy), Good service

Cons: Tasty buy not wow, Rice is extra on curries
