I called in the order and found the prices had gone up from what I was looking at on line. We ordered the Cashew Delight and a large Tom Kha soup. The soup was more expensive than the Cashew Delight. We did a spice level 5 and thought it was perfect amount of heat. The Cashew Delight was okay. The soup was better.

Tasty but have to request vegan - Edit
Good thing I asked the wait staff about making sure curries could be vegan, as I was told that I had to request it (meaning not vegan as-is). My partner and I got pumpkin curry and yellow curry, both with tofu. And a side of cucumber salad. All was tasty!

Amazing Food and People! - Edit
They are extremely accommodating when it comes to vegans. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with them coming up with an order for my very large vegan family. they saved all of the dishes in the computer for us and we order here once a week. They have been nothing but wonderful and their food is always fresh, healthy, and amazing tasting! I'm very appreciative to how helpful they are.

Best Vegan Thai in Reno - Edit
My favorite Thai place in Reno. The staff is incredibly friendly and hard-working. It's easy to order vegan and I've NEVER gotten a mix up (gotten a dish that's not vegan) in over 4 years of coming here. They have coconut milk for the Thai tea. I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered. The online ordering system is very easy to use. There are times when it gets busy but the service and the quality are never compromised

Staff is amazing, so attentive and nice. They have separate gluten free menu, they will make vegan food to order, that is delicious. This is our favorite vegan place in Reno. I feel good about spending money here and really feel like they are taking care of me.

Very good vegan-friendly Thai Food - Edit
We eat a lot of Thai food and are pretty particular. This is one of our favorite places in Reno if we're in the mood. The prices are very fair, they are very happy to make things vegan if they are not already, and the food tastes fresh. We tend to order red & green curry as often as not, and both those dishes are full of a wide variety of veggies and tofu. Worth a visit!

Sorry guys but this restaurant is not vegan/vegetarian friendly in my opinion. While the server was polite, our options were quite limited & ended up having to send a dish back. All of the curries contain shrimp paste and many stir-fries contain oyster sauce. So, they may omit fish sauce but if you don't ask they won't tell you. The dishes we ended up getting were either too sweet or bland. Nothing like I've had in Thailand or other vegan friendly Thai restaurants in other cities.

Yummy Thai - Edit
Located kitty-corner to Reno's Whole foods on S. Virginia and Neil, Thai Lotus is an unassuming little restaurant with some very, very good food and excellent service. My non-vegetarian husband had a salad with shrimp, which he really liked, and I had an excellent green curry with tofu. I just asked for tofu and specified "no fish sauce" and the waitress immediately knew I was Veg*n. The curry came out, creamy and delightful with fresh vegetable and fragrant Jasmine rice.

Delicious Thai and Vegan Friendly - Edit
The staff at Thai Lotus was very helpful suggesting delicious vegan options from the menu. We had a very large group of which half were vegan/veggie and our wait staff was outstanding at suggesting soups, appetizers, and entrees for both groups. Everything was great! If you are in Reno this is the place to eat!
