Delicious food and lovely outdoor patio - Edit
There a multitude of vegan and vegetarian options. The pumpkin curry was one of the best we’ve ever tried. We also loved the tofu satay and drunken noodle (with vegan sauce by request)

Very friendly staff who will pro-actively tell you about non-vegan items like fish sauce in the Pad Thai for which they have a vegan sauce though! The outside patio is lovely! Great quality value at lower prices.

The staff is very knowledgeable about what is vegan. Just let them know you’re vegan, so that they can adjust the meals in the vegetarian menu.
Read moreI ordered the Pad See Ew and Yellow Curry with tofu. The Pad See Ew was delicious, but a lot less flavourful than most vegan versions I’ve tried. If you want something light, try this.
My favourite was the yellow curry, but be careful. It’s very spicy. I personally loved it, but it can be overwhelming for others. If spice is an issue for you, ask to make it milder or choose something lighter.

Seriously everyone, Thai classic is a SLO fan favorite for vegans and vegetarians alike. The wait staff is charming, and they definitely know what “vegan” means. Our absolute fave is the spicy noodles with “imitation meat” (they also call it mock duck and it’s made of seitan)...it will knock your socks off.
Thai Classic is the best value for probably the best vegan food in San Luis Obispo!

This is one of the best places to eat in town. They can make almost anything on their menu vegan. It's family style-- so bring a friend or friends to share with! Prices are stellar when you're sharing. When ordering off the vegetarian menu, the staff will warn you if something you're ordering has eggs or dairy in it. Plus they're sweet as pie!
