Delicious and very accomodating

I asked for a vegan orange tofu, and I've never had better tofu in my life. They were also incredibly kind and funny. Definitely going to be back again.
They had vegan options on the menu, but told me right away that they can make 95% of the menu vegan, and they were really kind and happy to do so.

Pros: Can modify almost all of the menu, Lots of options, Best tofu

One of my top go-tos for takeout!!

I love this place so much. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and the spice levels (1-10) are accurate. I've been eating here at least once every few weeks since I moved to Tucson and it has yet to disappoint. My go-to order is one green and one yellow curry with extra tofu and an order of drunken noodles with vegetables. All are vegan and many other menu items can be made vegan too, I'm just a creature of habit. The one con I can think of is the business recently got rid of its liquor license so no more take out AND beers from here. Dang. Still worth it to me though. Give it a try.

Pros: Friendly Staff, Cheap, Delicious

Cons: No liquor license

The best green curry in Tucson

This is the best place for green curry in Tucson. The green curry is honestly so good- it always has a fresh herb top note which really makes it a five star experience. Rice and vegetables are always really good too. A good amount of curry. I haven’t gotten anything else, I honestly only ever get the green curry because it’s that good. The owner is the sweetest man too.

Pros: Best green curry in Tucson!, Very nice wait staff

A favorite

I’ve been here twice and really like it! I had the same waiter each time, and he was super friendly and helpful in finding me vegan options that are also gluten free. They have a big menu, so there’s plenty of options, and have a disclaimer that almost all of their menu can be made veggie, vegan, or GF. I had the sweet and sour tofu on my most recent visit, and it wasn’t very exciting. But everything else I’ve tried has been excellent.

Pros: So many options for vegans and GF, Very friendly staff, Cheap lunch menu

Cons: It’s too far from my house to visit more often

tasty & affordable vegan thai & chinese!

one of the things i appreciate most is that the staff is never confused when you ask for your food to be made vegan. their soups and curries are always a great choice. nothing is ever too greasy. the vegan alternatives i've tried have all been very flavorful, so it doesn't feel like you're missing out on any excitement that the omnivore plates might have. great thai and chinese options that are very affordable.

Pros: cheap, tasty, knowledgeable staff

Cons: takes a little long but worth it

Absolutely DELICIOUS! our best meal in Tucson

While looking online to find a restaurant with VEGAN options for dinner, we stumbled on a review that said Thai China Bistro rocks.
What luck! This cute little place was perfect for our group of eight (vegans and omnis), because we were having fun chatting and not in a hurry. The staff was so friendly and our older waiter was hilarious.

Everything we ordered was amazing, but made fresh to order, so it did take a little bit of time. I think if we had come for lunch the service would have been faster.

about the food: they serve very fancy drinks that everyone loved. We had never tasted boba tea before, it was so fresh and tasty.
For appetizers we had the veggie sushi, everyone loved it.
The main courses we ordered were various curries, pad thai, stir fries, and the Chef's Specialty Soup (pho).
The food was so good we were sharing tastes; if we could go back I would get the pho!!

I'm amazed this place got some bad reviews, but it looks like that was over a year ago - maybe they have new staff now. As it is today, we highly recommend the Thai China Bistro! It was a good value and so yummy.
We would give this place 5 stars if we could!

Pros: delicious vegan options, good prices, friendly staff, nice vibe

Cons: dinner service might be slow

Really Awful

I have tried this place twice. Once right after it opened and the second time recently. I cannot state this in any plainer terms. The food here is truly awful. Do not waste your money. Go to Char's instead.

Lots of Delicious Vegan Options

There were lots of options for me and the staff was very knowledgeable about what was vegan or could be made vegan. I had a sushi roll with fried tofu, avocado, and carrots covered in sesame seeds and a spicy wasabi sauce. And the Pod Prig Sod with tofu. Both were great, and my non-vegan parents were very impressed with the dishes they ordered, as well.

Pros: lots of vegan options, knowledgeable staff, inexpensive

Very good

I went here with two omni friends for lunch. They have $4.99 lunch specials, one of which was vegan (Panang Curry). Delicious and filling lunch for very reasonable price. The curry came with egg roll and your choice of lo mein, fried (not vegan), or steamed rice. I had the Panang curry with lo mein and coconut slushy boba tea - all very good. Can't wait to go back and try something on the china side of the menu.
