No flavor, really disappointed

We got food here and ordered 3 dishes and all of them tasted like just oil and no other flavor (I couldn’t even taste soy sauce) the tofu was cold and wasn’t pressed. The veggies didn’t taste like they were fully cooked either.

Delicious!

Highly recommend for vegan Thai. I’ve been twice now and plan on returning. I love getting the pumpkin curry with sticky rice! And their large vegetarian menu is a huge plus. Would give 5 stars if HappyCow let us.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Quick and friendly service , Affordable

OMG the curry!

Ok, I’ve only been here a few times (so far). The first time I went I had the curry. They have red, green, and yellow curry. OMG that curry was sooo good, I’ve never tried anything else yet. The curry broth is amazing. I eat the veggies and tofu out of it, then mix the brown rice in to make sure I get all of it. I see others rave about other dishes - noodles, pad Thai, etc - and someday I really should try those. If they are anything like the curry this will be my new favorite (sorry Loving Hut). Lunches are about $11 each, but they are good sized meals.

*** UPDATE ***
I felt adventurous and tried the drunken noodles today. I should say that they have a pretty good vegetarian menu, and they can modify any of it to vegan easily. The drunken noodles normally have egg, easy enough to leave that out. So, my vegan drunken noodles were, um, not impressive. They were very bland other than whole basil leaves and a lot of red pepper flakes. I’ll be sticking with the curry from here out.

Best Thai food in Elk Grove!

I’ve eaten here so many times. My favorites are the pad Thai, the pumpkin curry, and the Thai fried rice. The flavor is always on point and they even have really good desserts. I love the fried banana.

Tasty Thai vegan food

We've tried several of their dishes and have found all of them to be tasty with generous portions. Try the pumpkin red curry, and don't forget to specify "vegan" with all your selections - they will accommodate you without even flinching. Also recommended: the Thai chow mein; pad Thai with wide noodles; and the drunken noodles. If you are not accustomed to 'regular' Thai food, be sure to request 'mild' spiciness. All vegan and vegetarian dishes substitute tofu for meat or fish.

Pros: Good selection of veg/vegetarian items, Big portions, good value, Prompt service

Cons: Could be too spicy for tender stomachs, VERY busy at meal times
