Fish sauce rampant, most dishes cannot be veganized

I went to this restaurant based on the Happy Cow note that dishes are made with vegetable broth instead of fish sauce. Unfortunately, the restaurant is now under new management and they cook with fish sauce in nearly every dish. I wanted a curry but was told they couldn't make any curries vegan. Instead, I was told I only had three options that could be veganized off the lunch menu: Veggie Medley, Thai Fried Rice or Basil Stir-fry. Since I had met a friend for lunch, I selected one of the three dishes (Basil Stir-fry). I gave this restaurant two stars because they did have three vegan options and it was edible. However, it was very bland and not at all what one envisions when thinking of Thai food. I won't be back.

Pros: Vegetables were fresh

Cons: At lunch, only three items could be veganized, No vegan curries

Good tofu

Only had as takeout but enjoyed the tofu—nice fried tofu, not that soft straight from the container crap.
