Honestly we go in here for a few items that we can't get elsewhere, or if we happen to be passing. They appear to have some good deals though you should always check your receipt as we have been over charged almost every time we have been.
Read moreThe fresh veg is pricier, I get it, it's fresh and possibly organic? Problem is it's not as good quality as what I can pay half the price for at Coles or IGA. I'll happily pay more but it needs to at least be on par with quality.
They tend to want to check your bag a lot, maybe that's because people use bags instead of baskets to grab their foods? And there was usually someone waiting at the door acting as a security guard. The last few times we have gone the check out staff are also seem very moody or aloof, as if they've all got somewhere better to be.
Look, the vibe of the place isn't great. It's cramped, we run in to specific areas to grab the few good deals we know they sometimes have and then leave, no real customer service and if I didn't have to go in there I wouldn't bother.
Update for March 2022:
Still consistently overcharging items at the till. Watch everything they put through and correct them! I hate to think how many people have been conned out of their dollars because they're not watching the price of things going through the till!
Also, one avocado for $4.99?! Seriously?!

Yeah I will never forget the time I was filling my own pre-weighed container from the bulk bins and a staff member told me I had to line up (in the long queue) to get my container
Read moreweighed at the counter. I remarked that that was a bit annoying and the staff member raised his voice at me and said “We actually demand it!” Fair enough to insist, but basic customer service would not involve going from zero to 100 in three seconds.

An institution in Melbourne, this store has so many amazing organic vegan products and food items. The prices are very reasonable for organic food. It can be a little cramped , and unfortunately sells meat and meat products.

Really well stocked, love that they now also have lots of own brand goods. It’s huge but be ready to jostle with other shoppers along narrow aisles to find what you want.

This is honestly a store I visit daily. Many of the products are cheaper than large supermarket chains and they also have so many brands that I cant find anywhere else. Great prices and a good variety of products.

Wonderful shop, amazing options and all for such a cheap price however the actual experience of walking down tiny isles and standing in a long line surrounded by lots of people is not for everyone, it’s such a great shop they should branch out and make the shop so much bigger! I love it here!

Love this place! Been here twice.They sell vegan ice cream, yoghurt, cheese and 'meats' as well as organic vitamins, make up, chewing gum and household goods. Unfortunately, couldn't see any NoEgg in stock.
