A veggie and vegan oasis - Edit
We were only in town for a few hours over lunchtime, and we always like to use independent vegan or veggie places if possible. The waitress spoke good English and described 4 or 5 daily dishes - just one was vegan (noodles with veg). My family has focaccia (huge) and ravioli.

They offer a vegan dish every day. We had noodles with veggies and tofu and it was delicious. But, the vegan chocolate cake was a dream 😋

Although this is a vegetarian restaurant they couldn’t have been more accommodating to myself and my husband. It was a busy lunchtime and we went hoping they did vegan options, at first they said they were a vegetarian restaurant but we asked if any of their dishes could be adjusted to be vegan, we do not speak Spanish but with a little help from google translate we got there. The ladies English was pretty good and couldn’t have been more lovely and accommodating offering a homemade pizza which was delicious, we also had homemade chocolate cake and ginseng coffee for dessert. The chef also came to see if we enjoyed our meal.

Best restaurant on the island - Edit
Such a nice and cozy café and a really sweet owner. Most of the dishes, we were offered, were vegan. I had some to die for quinoa-albondigas and a fantastic chocolate cake. Really cheap prices. Strongly recommend this place 💚

Vegetarian cafe, very welcoming and friendly- made a pasta dish from the daily specials board vegan for us, it was so simple and tasty with courgette, tomato and mushroom in a delicious sauce. Wow! one of the best pasta dishes ever tasted...and then we were offered a fully vegan, gorgeous rich chocolate cake for dessert which was amazing. Easily the best food we had in Fuerteventura. Directly opposite the port. Inside and outside seating. Lovely views, clean, could have stayed all day.

Local en el mismo paseo del puerto de Puerto del Rosario. El personal es muy amable! Solo tienen un plato del día, que va cambiando a diario, pero puedes pedir focaccia eligiendo todos los ingredientes, por lo que puedes hacerla vegana. La comida es hecha con ingredientes de calidad y eso se nota, estaba deliciosa!!! Se come fenomenal y a muy buen precio. Para repetir!!!

I give an extra star because this is probably the only vegetarian place in Puerto del Rosario.
Read moreAt the entrance the staff said they were closing soon so they couldn't make anything hot. It was still a whole hour until closing but ok (BTW: the opening hours are very short, the restaurant is closed also on the weekend).
The only option was toast, which turned out not to be toast but a normal bun. There were two options to choose from: with avocado and hummus. I chose the first one. It was OK but what can go wrong when someone make a bun with avocado?
Additional downside: no English menu, no vegan options marked.
