Really lovely (and almost fully veg!) - Edit
Big portions of a diverse array of tastes and textures, friendly staff, everything made in-house, and a lovely atmosphere. Couldn't ask for more (:

Not crazy about this place - Edit
This place was getting lots of 5 star reviews due it it wearing a vegetarian badge on this app and/or having a decent atmospbere. It is in fact a meat restaurant which should've limited it to 4 stars. The vegetarian badge has since been changed but the 5 star reviews have remained. In addition the restaurant has moved again to some dank alley off the main street.
Read moreAs meaties go this is certainly one of the better ones and the food deserves a 4. Unfortunately is has zero atmosphere now. The restaurant is dark with little attractive decoration. Worth a visit if you fancy Japanese. Otherwise go for a veggie restaurant in town.
Pros: Good vegan food options
Cons: Overhyped , Grim inside and out. , No comfy seating

Has moved and changed name. - Edit
For anyone trying to find this place it's now called Kamui and is located directly 100m up the road from the Pana boat dock right in the center of town. Really good food! And staff are super nice too.

amazing food! - Edit
The meal I had here was one of my favorites in San Pedro. You can tell it's made with love and the owner is sooo nice. It's a proper restaurant with a different name which I can't recall. Def go there! Closed on Sundays.

Wonderful - Edit
The teriyaki tofu burger and accompanying salad were delicious! I can't wait to go back. From what I could tell, it wasn't actually open on Sundays.

delicious little roadside shack - Edit
It's easy to pass this place by without realizing what it is. The owner has been making delicious Japanese-themed veggie food in San Pedro for years, but her place is only open for a few hours on a few days during the week. Worth seeking out and supporting, though be aware that if you get there late – i.e. towards the end of her 3-hour shift – items may be sold out. Mostly vegan, though some dishes come with mayo-based sauces.
