Great burgers and desserts !

I love the burgers (esp the chicken ones) and the desserts and the onion rings. So good! The fries are a little soggy and limp tho I don’t recommend them.

Breakfast sandwich

Ordered the egg, cheese and tomato breakfast sandwiches. Enjoyed overall except for the excess mayo, which we removed. Disappointed they don’t carry vegan cheesecake anymore, but other vegan cakes (red velvet, carrot) and stuffed cookies were available.

Pros: Vegan/vegetarian

Cons: Watch for the excess mayo

Ordinary burgers

Vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan options. I took the chicken cryspy jalapenos vegan version and it was ok but no more. Cheap iceberg lettuce and no other vegetable.

Cheap, vegan junk food 🔥

Had the chicken sandwich with fries and tiramisu….saved an egg sandwich for breakfast the next day.

Sandwiches were good bit too much mayo for me on both of them. The fries and tiramisu were bomb 💣

The samosa burger looks interesting I want to try that next time I grabbed food from here.

Pros: Lots of options

Great New Place!

Great new addition to vegetarian offer on West Broadway! Super quick and friendly service, great value and delicious food: we had the vegan version of BBQ Tempeh (my favourite) and NoBull burger, as well as yam fries. One suggestion: it would be great if the free water was more accessible.
_______May 2023 UPDATE______
Unfortunately, the last few times I've eaten there (probably 3-4 in the past year...), I've been pretty disappointed. The food just wasn't as tasty as it used to be... Some items on the menu were not available, and there's no washroom for the customers anymore. So, I decided to take a star off as I wouldn't rate it the same as I did in 2016...

Pros: good food, pleasant interior

Cons: expensive, no drinking water offered , no washrooms

Nice

We tried the vegan fish ‘n chips. Tasty, golden, nicely fried vegan fish. Fries are very thin. Good desserts: great red velvet, and scrumptious decadent chocolate cake. Tiramisu just ok.

Decent burger joint

Went for dinner and while the food was good, I must echo the other reviews with the off atmosphere. Staff seem unhappy and clipped and the space is not terribly pleasant. I’ll go again for the food, but I’ll get it to go.

Average fast food

I had their BBQ Tempeh Burger and Red Velvet Cake. It was ok and cheap, but not exceptional. I believe their burgers are made of good quality ingredients, but honestly, I expected a bit more than just a piece of tempeh in a bun. Also, all their cakes and cookies are in plastic packaging, which I find unnecessary, and there is no coffee to come with the cakes!
The place generally lacked atmosphere, and the goods at the counter are just a big mess. Anyway, if you just need to eat quickly, this place can be ok.

EDIT: I decided to give them a second chance, and had a Smokey No Bull Burger and one of their "Oreos". The burger was again nothing special, even though it was nice they replaced the cheese with vegan cheese. Regarding the dessert, the cookie was VERY dry, tasted like a week-old, and the cream too sweet and sugary - definitely full of icing sugar, I almost could not finish it even though I usually love sweets. Again, disappointment.

Pros: Cheap, Location (close to UBC and Jericho Beach), Small outside patio

Cons: Single use plastic, No coffee

Delicious fast food

Went here to try and we weren’t disappointed. The burgers are juicy with great toppings. I had smokehouse deluxe and my partner had a spicy burger, both with yam fries and it was delicious!

Cookies were another story. We got cookie sandwiches for dessert and the chocolate one was so hard it was like biting into an over baked dry cookie

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Favourite Vegan Burger in Vancouver (Beyond Burger)

I’ve been going to Tera V Burger for the past few years, they’ve always had good veggie burgers. But now they serve the Beyond burger and it’s even better! (Be sure to add vegan cheese and vegan bacon, so good!) They also serve Vouge cakes desserts, all of which are amazing but they just started selling a Vegan Turtle Cheesecake and it might be one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place, but if you get fries, maybe ask for them crispy? I usually get take out and just put them in my oven for 5-10 minutes and they’re perfect.

Pros: My favourite Vegan Beyond Burger in Vancouver , Vegan Cheese and Bacon additions, Vegan Desserts (Vouge Cakes)

Cons: Fries could be crispier

Safe to Take Your Omnivore Relatives and Friends Here

If you're looking for the unconventional, offbeat feel of a vegetarian burger restaurant like Winnipeg's Boon Burger, you won't find it at Tera V. There's nothing unusual here. On your first visit you'll know exactly where to order and what to expect. It's perfect for omnivores looking to eat a bit more healthfully, but nothing weird. It's a safe spot for solo diners or those with social anxiety disorder uncomfortable with new places. It looks like a standard burger joint.

Omnivores will love the No Bull Burger. Make sure to specify vegan if you are vegan. They will substitute daiya cheese and vegan mayo. Add the vegan bacon for some extra flavour.

Vegans may want to branch out and try the tempeh burger--it's really good.

Go ahead and order the fries--they're baked not fried and surprisingly good.

Almost every time my partner and I eat at Tera V, we have an interesting exchange with other customers or one of the staff. A meal at Tera V just always ends up being a great experience.

Tera V

We visited Tera V on a lazy Friday night out, and were pleasantly surprised with the various menu options. We decided to go for the BBQ Tempeh Burger and the No Bull Burger, and really wanted to add the vegan bacon advertised, but were told they were out. The staff were very friendly, but it took quite a while to receive our food, even though there weren't more than 2-3 other people dining in. We weren't in any rush though, and holed up in one of the booths. Both burgers were delicious, and the No Bull really stood out for me. I'd love to see a little more creativity and flair with the burgers, though - seeing as there are a few other vegan places in the city with out-of-this-world burger choices. I think this could really be a Kitsilano gem!

Tastes and feels like meat!

My boyfriend, who's a hardcore meat eater, thought the burger was beef until the very end when I announced that he was eating a vegan burger. Such good food.

Pros: Most things can be vegan, Big menu

Cons: Small eating space

vegan fast food

The No Bull Burger takes me right back to burgers I had rom fast food joints, minus that grease and animal fat. There is. I way that the average person would know these burgers are vegan if you didn't tell them.
I have still gotten that lethargic feeling after stuffing myself - something that doesn't seem to come from really fresh food - but if you're craving a typical burger, this is the place!

Just what I wanted, a basic burger.

I love the fact that I can go into this place and just get a burger in a wrapper, at a cheap price ($6.49 at the time or writing this), and eat it. I'm getting a bit sick and tired of going into places to get a burger just to be confronted with a price tag of $15+ with fries and salad etc. forced upon me. I got a burger. I ate it. It was good. Got a couple smoothies for the people I was with who were not hungry. The smoothies were alright - a bit watery for my idea of a smoothie which I make with fruit and perhaps a table spoonful of water if need be. Eh. They enjoyed them. So, think about it, for a price of about 13-bucks you get two burgers for less than the price of one burger at another place. It was a tasty burger. Nothing over the top, but it was good. I will be back to try all of the other options.

Pros: Great prices, Not forced to get fries/salad at double the price

Cons: Not everything is VEGAN!, Parking can be a bit of a [censored] to find, Waaaaay far from where I live

wonderful in a pinch

Tera V is favourite place to grab a quick meal in kits. The service is wonderful, very helpful with suggestions and always kind. The sweet potato fries aren't the best, and I'm disappointed with the portion of fries. Their burgers are wonderful though and there is quite a lot of variety.

Pros: quick

Cons: not fully vegan

Great in a pinch

We tried this place because we were feeling lazy and wanted burgers and it was close to where we were staying. I wanted to love this place more than I did. The burgers were good, they were baked instead of fried so slightly more healthy. They forgot to charge us for and actually input my husbands meal so we waited forever before we realized what happened. They were good about it and offered us free fries and cookies. Not upset about it but their food takes awhile to cook so we had to wait around for his food. I like that everything is biodegradable but don't think I'll go out of my way to come back.

Pros: Healthier choices for burgers, Cookies

Cons: Long food wait times, Menu not the most varied
