We made reservations for Tequila on the night of the weekly Art Walk in San Jose and I’m glad we did. We went with friends who are not vegan so we needed a restaurant that could accommodate all of us. There were great options for me and my wife. The meal started off with a complimentary shot of warm zucchini soup, which was amazing! We shared the following: vegan chili relleno, spring rolls, and sides of beans and plantains, which were delicious!! The service here is that of a fine restaurant. When in San Jose we will definitely return!

There were great options to feed our vegan family. We had the following family style: wood fired Vegetable Extravaganza, vegan chili relleno, spring rolls, and sides of beans and plantains. Although it was not on the menu, we asked for and received some tortillas.
Read moreWe were disappointed that the chilli relleno didn’t use vegan cheese; it was tasty, but not the decadent dish we hoped for.
