Great sushi 🍣 rolls! This is a small but cute place with really delicious 😋 all vegan options. Everything I ordered was delightful! It looks like nothing much from the outside but its really great! The salmon did not taste like much by itself but in combination with all of it, it really is great. I liked every dish I ordered. My belly is so happy coming from this restaurant. I would have loved to try everything.

I absolutely loved everything about Tenon Vegan Sushi. Everything was amazingly delicious. I love spicy rolls so I got the spicy veg. Salmon roll amd spicy asparagus. The Vancouver roll was so delicious 😋. The vegan dessert was fire!!!

I didn’t know they can make vegan sashimi so similar to the real sashimi, using konjac I suppose. Wow, just wow, the texture, taste, appearance exactly (or nearly perfect) the same as real salmon sashimi! I feel somewhat guilty eating it! The Peiking Duck and sushi rolls are all delicious! Will be back to try everything on the menu.

Massive menu with so many options to choose from. I had the golden dragon rolls and spicy broccoli rolls. The mango and BBQ combination with vegan crab and prawn tempura in the dragon rolls was delish. I wouldn't normally choose broccoli but it was suggested to me and it was surprisingly good , would order again. Attentive, friendly and quick service was a bonus

Visited a place twice for dine in with my friends and for a small take out!
Read moreThe sushi are great, but the portions were a bit small for the price: I got chicken soy skewers and tenon roll and I was a bit disappointed for the size of both dishes!
I would highly recommend getting a platter since it is the best way to get full and try more rolls from this place!

Such a solid menu with so many options. I’ve been here many times and also order from Uber Eats, it’s always a good experience. My favourites are the dynamite rolls, pine nut fried rice and general tso soy chicken.

Probably our new favorite place in Toronto! Food is very fresh, tastes so close to what animal they are replacing. They are doing incredible work to show we can have delicious, tasty food without having to eat animals.

The fresh ingredients taste very high quality. Perfectly ripe and creamy avocado in the rolls, nice crunchy cucumber. Also the food is ready quickly. It's not mind-blowing sushi like Sushi Momo in Montreal, but I can't complain because Tenon Vegan Sushi is still pretty good. I wish there were more fresh options and fewer mock meat options, but some people really enjoy that, so I understand.

My non-vegan partner agreed it’s amazing and he can’t tell how they made it look and taste like salmon!

The sauce made it amazing and without it the roll is good just ok.
Vegan Chicken Skewers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
When I say it is good let me tell you I ordered seconds of their vegan chicken skewers two days in a row and only regret not having more time to explore even more items on the menu.
Next time I'm in Toronto i'll be visiting the other of their two locations.
Pros: Excellent flavor, quality food, Casual dining restaurant, comfortable, Non-vegan friendly

Read moreThe food tasted fine but I didn't have a mind-blowing experience like other reviewers. I wasn't inspired to try more sushi given the entire page of special rolls are quite similar: tempura soy crab or prawn featured in most of them and most rolls are topped with BBQ sauce. There were a few with soy chicken or beef but these were inching towards $20 for 8 pieces (including tax). The crab itself had little flavor and was mostly a spongy texture. The place also smelled strongly of fried oil. Good sushi, but not the best I've ever had.
They do have a large menu offering Thai and Chinese dishes, so there's a little something for everyone. Service was lovely.

I've been vegan for 4 years and sushi is one of the only things I miss from my omnivore days. I'm from Massachusetts and there's no vegan sushi spots like this around, so coming here was such a treat!

I don’t even have words for how amazing this place is. Pre V I was a HUGE sushi eater and this exceeded every hope and dream for sushi I could have imagined. Everything was so delicious and thought out, the service was so fast and the place is very authentic. You write your order on a sheet of paper and within 15 minutes your food arrives. I want to bed saying I never wanted to see sushi again (because I ate SO much), but I woke up rethinking what I said 😂

Toronto has a lot of vegan restaurants and also a lot of non-vegan restaurants with surprisingly good vegan menus - but no one can replace tenon.
Read moreTenon has a huge variety of sushis, I've been here so much, ordered takeout so much, that I won't bore you with the details, but if you like sushi, you will like this place. Which sushi one prefers is probably a matter of personal taste but everything is always served with consistent thought and quality - at both locations in Toronto (though I frequent downtown location more). I have never had a single thing here that wasn't done well.
The sushi is not "authentic" in the sense that well, most japanese places won't have so many types of vegan sushi. So they do apply their own interpretation to the cuisine, but it is very delicious.
The prices are also unbelievably good for so much creativity.

I wasn’t particularly impressed by the flavour of the soy crab or prawn but they were prepared and cooked well. Presentation was nice and tea was offered when sitting in. The fish alternatives that I was curious about lacked flavour so I would recommend sticking to the vegetable based dishes! Asparagus Maki etc. Quite a few delivery drivers come through the door so this seems like more of a takeaway kind of place.
