Little overpriced but tasty and excellent staff - Edit
Staff were incredibly attentive and friendly.
Read moreWe had the Vegan Degustation menu between four people which arguably needs some editing to be worth the price of $70 per person.
1. Olives - Nice but bit basic.
2. Pickled Veg - Nice but basic.
3. Sourdough bread - Delicious but accompanying olive oil was a tad basic.
4. Gem Lettuce - Very tasty. The macadamia nuts were phenomenal. I think previous reviews had built up my expectations for it.
5. Brussels - Very tasty. Think the sprouts could’ve done with a little more roasting, however.
6. Potatoes - Nice but a bit plain and could have been crispier.
7. Celeriac - Tasty but would like more mushrooms as they were amazing
8. Salad - Basic and unimpressive. With the general menu advertising more interesting sides, this was uninspiring.
9. Carrot Cake - Tasty but two smallish pieces were given out with the intention of them being split between the four. Disappointing portion.
Would definitely recommend the restaurant but do believe the menu and portions needs a little editing.
Pros: Staff, Gem Lettuce dish, Brussel Sprout dish
Cons: Price, Portions, Choice for degustation

5 stars for vegan degustation and service - Edit
The only reason this review isn’t 5 starts is because of happy cow stopping reviews of that sort for places that aren’t 100% vegan.
Read moreThis restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The staff are incredibly hospitable and so very knowledgeable. My partner and I had the vegan degustation - this was $70 per person and 100% worth the money. The cuisine is modern Australian and is a triumph of flavours. Everything feels understated with purpose and it’s stunning as a result. A highlight for me was the chargrilled baby gem - it’s like nothing I’ve ever had before and I wish I had more. You get about 10 dishes to share over 4 courses and it’s just lovely.
Definitely recommend a visit here.

5 ⭐️ for the vegan food - Edit
Fabulous food, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff.
Read moreThis is a share plate kind of place, we had the pickled veg, Chargrilled baby gem ( oh my god, so good!), cauliflower and the greens all of which were amazing and fed 2 people perfectly. We did squeeze in the Rice pudding which was also very yummy.
Staff were very knowledgeable about drinks menu and just generally lovely.
Tempus use seasonal produce and work hard to be sustainable.
Pros: Such good food, Chargrilled baby gem!! , Sustainable
Cons: Pricey but worth it.
