Solid down to earth options - Edit
Inspired a bit by Asian and Russian cuisine the outcoming fusion is interesting and satisfying in the same time. We went there two evenings after each other and appreciated the friendliness and atmosphere of the location.

Good restaurant when with non veg friends - Edit
Tedone tries to use as much organic products as possible. Not many options but it's a deliberate choice to have all the food homemade. My dish (stuff zucchini) was tasty and delicate.

Nunca pensé que eligiría unas judias verdes en un restaurante, pero así fue y me sorprendieron! (Con setas, aguacate y salsa de frutos rojos).

Food: hummus and bread (very good), Rice and tofu and veggies (my partner loved it, me too but it was a bit too salty for me), seitan and onions and spinach (I loved it, even though it was a bit oily, but the combination of seitan and onions was soo good). Location: outdoor seating, not the quietest, still very nice. Drinks: water (good as always heh)

50% of the menu is vegan. It's not cheap (all dishes are over 14€), but the cuisine is awesome. The staff is completely aware of veganism and will make recommendations upon request.

No meat served darker than duck. Great waiter who took his time to explain their menu in fluent English. Love that they are so into local ingredients and bio. First course was good, nothing extraordinary - we chose the green beans with prawn option (can do all vegan too). Second course was scallop, catch of the day - really good! Dessert was vegan brownie, which was also good, but with a weird mix of saucy sides to it which didn't compliment the dish much. Nice local white wine. All in all a nice experience. We'd rate the food 3,5 and the waiter 4,5.

Staff super nice. Bread and hummus and wine were fabulous. I didn't like either main course I had, which is too bad because it's a nice place, but in the end it's about the food and I didn't like it.

I know this place has mixed reviews, I decided to go off the positive ones which I now regret. Me and my partner had the salad and the red rice with veges, basically they both just tasted like salt, usually my partner likes a good amount of salt in her food but even she found it too salty, there was not a lot of other flavours going on other than that. To add to the pain the place was quite pricey, I don’t mind paying extra for really nice food but this not that, we didn’t finish our meals as the salt was too much.

A Lifesaver for vegans in San Sebastian - Edit
I arrived in San Sebastian late and my hotel recommended this small place. It looks like a kind of tavern with a very homey atmosphere. It is not totally vegan or vegetarian but they have three options. I was in for a treat. Over the course of the next few days, I came back to try each of the three items. Each, in its own way, was outstanding food, well-prepared, well-seasoned and tasty. The wine is super-cheap and they also have delicious desert options. Highly recommended for vegan travellers in San Sebastian: it is otherwise and extremely difficult place to find a decent meal. You may need to book as it is a local gem that seems to be extremely popular at peak times

Loved this restaurant! We were brought complimentary hummus and home made bread to start (the yellow raisin filled one was to die for) then I opted for the red rice (delicious) while my boyfriend had the fish platter. This place was great for us as I'm vegan but he isn't so it catered for both. All ingredients are locally sourced and organic so I was more comfortable that his fish choice-compromises! We finished with an incredible vegan chocolate orange cake- would definitely recommend this. The waiters were very friendly, chatting and recommending dishes as we ordered. Great little place!

I was really excited to find this place. It offers elegant food presentations in a quiet setting, with outdoor seat and vegan options. I was really disappointed, however. First, we were brought a complimentary polenta pre-appetizer. I explained (in Spanish) that I am vegan and the waitress assured me that there were no animal products in it. I had a sip and became suspicious that it had milk. I asked another waitress and it did actually have milk according to her. I was not pleased and explained that this was a very serious mistake. They apologized sincerely, and were nice about it, but really, someone could die from misinformation about ingredients. Then, my dish came and it looked pretty, but not all of the ingredients were fresh, namely the beans and lotus root. They were both slightly rancid, as if they'd even sitting around for a few days. Additionally, the compilation of flavors in the dish (morel mushrooms) really needed refinement. The flavors did not compliment and blend together in any way. It was kind of like a pile of different things, with no cohesion, and partly rancid, with excessive amounts of oil all over it. I'm happy this place is at least trying to offer vegan, organic and gluten-free options and and would give it a second chance if they took this feedback to heart.

My husband and I had dinner there and were extremely pleased with the whole experience. There were a few vegetarian options and just as many vegan options, including some gluten-free ones. The food very elaborate, unique and flavorful.

I have eaten there a few times, and have always been reasonably pleased. Last time round it wasn't great though: I had lunch on a Sunday, and then there's apparently no menú del día or a similarly good deal. Instead, we found 4 veggie and 4 non-veggie dishes. Among the 4 meatfree ones I found the homemade seitan appealing, but I didn't order it, as sadly they are rolled in a batter that contains egg, and they couldn't do it without it just for me. My friend and I shared 2 of the remaining three options, all of which were vegan: a salad and red rice. While we found the dishes (ca 12 euros each) tasty and filling, they were not exactly experimental, and are not likely to win over meat-eaters to the cruelty-free side. The fact that the fourth dish was pasta only makes my point even clearer.

This busy little restaurant is tricky to find but worth the effort. When I arrived for a late lunch it was full but the friendly staff encouraged me to stay even though it was getting close to 3.30pm and closing time for the afternoon. I ate two courses including bread and a drink for a fixed price of €10. I can recommend the tasty marinated vegetable wraps.
