Try the mock chicken! - Edit
They are (as the other reviews note) very accommodating and careful. Before handing me my takeaway order, thwy double checked to make sure I was given soy sauce instead of fish sauce, I appreciate that I didn't have to check myself 😊 The mock chicken was delightful and abundant!

HIDDEN TREASURE OF ORLEANS! - Edit
T’basil is by far the best and most accomodating restaurant in Orleans. The service is always amazing and if you go often enough the owner will come out from the kitchen and give you a warm welcome everytime you arrive. I have such a hard time deciding what I want whenever I go because everything is amazing. My favourites are the panang curry, spicy noodle, tom kha soup, tofu summer rolls and the vermicelli bowl with peanut sauce instead of fish sauce. The mock chicken is to die for and can be substituted instead of meat in any dish. If there’s anything you want but can’t have, just ask and they will accomodate your needs! They are also very good about serving things gluten free. 5 stars from me but the website wont let me since its not fully vegan.

Beware of the fish sauce - Edit
I called trying to order a vegan meal, unfortunately there is fish sauce in everything. I used to go there when I was vegetarian and liked the food, but there are no vegan options and so I don't go there anymore :(

i am friends with the owner and have been going to tbasil for the last 8 years! she is very friendly as well as all the other servers there and they have no problem substituting any ingredients to make sure that the dish is vegan. just ask to make a substitution when you go and you wont regret it, it is truly the best restaurant in orleans
