Not much choice - Edit
Maybe we timed it badly, but they didn’t have any alternative milks for coffee (said they used a pod type machine) and no vegan options for lunch other than soup (not ideal on a hot day!). Views out the back were lovely so we ordered their only other vegan option which was a lemon sponge cake (which was amazing!) but had to wait about 20 minutes for them to put it on a plate and bring it out (we didn’t have any drinks). Not sure I’d recommend to be honest unless you’re a bit stuck.

Absolute gem of a place - Edit
Amazing place with so many vegan options that it was a struggle to choose. We had the broccoli burger which was really tasty. They had oat milk as well as soya and most of the cakes were vegan too. There is a beautiful outside space to eat on the water's edge which makes this place a really special find. I would fully recommend and will definitely be back when I next come down this way.

Best vegan cakes in Scotland! - Edit
This community-owned cafe in the beautiful bay of Tayvallich has a vegan chef who makes the most incredible cakes I have ever tasted, as well as delicious breakfasts, a range of vegan sandwiches, hummus oatcakes, soups and daily specials. Some items are gluten free and well labelled. It's honestly worth visiting Argyll just to go to the cafe, although it's also a stunning setting (you can camp in the village campsite). The best bit about it is there's no fanfare at all about the vegan food, so lots of diners are having amazing cake and lunches and not even realising it's vegan. I can't give it five stars because they serve meat/fish but it deserves it. Handily, you can hire a nice hot shower if you're camping or boating nearby, and there is a small shop attached with a surprising range of vegan foods.
