Where else can you can get vegan ramen at 1:30 AM? That’s what I thought.
Read moreThe vegan ramen was delicious. It’s the “dry” type of ramen. The portion is laughable though. It’s literally ~10 bites for a $20 bowl of ramen.

Great ramen but be ready to wait - Edit
The hippie ramen is excellent. Very flavorful. Ask to add spinach and mushrooms. Very popular place. Must have waited an hour to be seated on a Wednesday night

The Truth - Edit
Best ramen I’ve had since I became vegan 3 years ago. Be prepared to wait on peak hours, I went right at opening on a Monday and still had to wait like 40 minutes.

Good food but the wait may not be worth it for you - Edit
The food is good, but this place often has a gigantic line. Because of that, I’ve found it to be a difficult place to meet up with friends, and it’s certainly not the best place on Sawtelle to eat alone at, haha. If you have a small party, don’t mind standing and waiting, and want to see what all the fuss is about, definitely give it a try!

Long wait - Edit
Third time eating here. Long wait on a Tuesday night. By the time we got seated we still had to wait at our table before offered water/drinks as well as another long wait for food. The Hippie dish was extremely salty this time.

The hippie ramen was good, I liked it better than Ramen Hood, although there's always a wait to be seated. We went a little before 6 on a Sunday and waited 30 min to be seated and maybe 10-15 min more for our food.

Really great veggie ramen option! - Edit
The hippie ramen is great. A good way to have something different on the west side. Super yummy tofu. You'll be surrounded by people eating lots of pork so be warned. Also there's usually a wait. Still good imo!
