Hidden gem

You find your way here through the narrow market. Get a front row seat overlooking the river and you could stay here all day! View is breathtaking.
As for food I only tried a green juice, which was nice. Food around me looked good though, and they have lots of marked vegan menu items

The view is priceless, no doubt!
But the staff is unfriendly, food is not good /average and they take 1h to make a salad! I asked for extra carrot sticks (raw) and it took them another 20min to bring. We needed to wave at the waiter 5 times so they’d actually come serve us.
There’s plenty of restaurants with a good view down that alley so I don’t necessarily recommend Tat cafe….

Pros: View, Big menu and lots it’s vegan

Cons: Expensive , Takes forever , Staff is ignoring orders and customers

Great food and view

We went here three times whilst in a Rishikesh for 4 days. We loved the food and the view. Food was freshly prepared and good quality. The aubergine curry was especially good and the iced mocha. All of the food and drink was really good and the service was mostly good. Best at lunch time when it’s not as busy and you can make the most of the view of the Ganges
