Excellent vegan curries and expert service - Edit
We were staying in Merced and walked to the other end of Main Street to get to this restaurant after reading the good things people have said about it on Happy Cow.
Read moreThe service was really friendly and we received good advice on what to order. There was a clear understanding of what was needed to ensure it was vegan. We ordered the eggplant curry and the tofu tikka masala. Both were very nice, and the eggplant especially was fantastic. It had a deliciously sweet flavour that was excellent when mopped up with one of the pillowy vegan naans. It was good value too, as the rice and naan was included in the price of the meal, which was roughly $12 for a vegetarian option.
We'd recommend coming here if you're in Merced.

The Vegan option was amazing!!! - Edit
Came to Merced for work and Ofcourse I have to find the local Vegan places. Options are very limited. Until I read some of the comments on here about Little India. I was greeted with a list of vegan options as the person greeting me was a Vegan himself. He told me that they use coconut milk and tofu. I ordered the Navaratan Korma with tofu, medium heat. Wow, simply wow. One of the best Indian meals I had outside of India. So well prepared and fresh. It is like a Tika Masala but with veggies too, like potato, peppers, …. And all that for $15. Would definitely recommend. I am here for 7 days, and I am definitely going back!!!

The waitress was so great and happy to accommodate. You have to ask which things can be made vegan, but there are a lot of options. One of the cooks is vegan and has made a lot of suggestions. My non-veg husband loved his food too. So happy we found this place!

We needed to stop randomly in A small town of the highway and thought it would be hard to find nice vegan food. But this was great!! And nice staff as well. Big portions and great naan bread.
