Cheap and easy

There is a vegetarian stall (number D6, added a photo) which you can order vegan options.

Food is good and price is right.

Pros: Cheap

Cheapest food court I found

Taste of Asia is the name of the whole food court, not only one stall. You will find many vegetarian/ vegan options there= 1) You have one stall completely vegetarian (look at comments below to find it) 2) You have a self-service buffet with a vegetarian section clearly indicated. There is a huge selection and they often offer a discount (50% off) during the evening. 3) You have a steamboat (hot pots) stall where you can select only vegetables, tofu and noodles (7 choices for 10 ringgits). They have a vegetables broth option. From all the malls I visited this one has the cheapest food options and it was good!

Pros: A lot of options, Cheap food , Convenient

Perfectly Reasonable Choice

This place has several set meals for 9 Ringgit (2.25 USD). I had one and it was a perfectly good dinner. There is also an assortment of a la carte foods that you can select in the 2-3 Ringgit range. Everything that I tried was good. It's not the quality of San Saan but it's a perfectly reasonable choice. I didn't need a meal card, I just paid cash. The women who ran the place were very friendly and helpful. The place is located in the rear of the food hall on the right side. It is clearly marked vegetarian.

Pros: good food, convenient for shopping at Times Square, friendly staff

Cons: not the value of nearby San Sean, not fancy (if you care)

Was the place you're describing entirely vegetarian? I went to this food court and had a good look around, but only found a buffet with a vegetarian section, alongside meat.

Hi Gojo, yes, the place was entirely vegetarian, not part of a larger buffet (I remember seeing the buffet on the left side of the hall). If you click on 'see all 6 photos' you'll see a picture of the place. I remember that I did have some trouble finding it. Someone had to show me. It's ALL the way in the back of the Times Square Food Court on the right side. I remember that there was a clear 'vegetarian' sign because I wondered why I didn't spot it the first time. Good luck!

Confirmed open September 2016

Located in the basement, not the 10th floor! Extensive menu in the foodcourt.

Lot of options, food court was not so clean

I was here in september 2012 (in the basement). I did not eat here, because I already had eaten and just want to check how the place looked because I might wanted to come back.
I did not go back for 2 reasons:
- the food court itself was not so clean, there was food and napkins everywhere on the floor.
- it looked like the food might have been there the whole day, it was a buffet but it was not covered up, I did not find this really hygienic. And there were a lot of other vegetarian options close by. But I did not taste the food, so it maybe is very good.

I was there at 18.00 and there were still a lot of options, so it is not only a lunch place.

Expensive, but Nice Food

My hubby and I chose 3-4 dishes with white rice & it cost us RM11.55. Consider expensive but the food was really nice. The staff helped to heat up the food for us so it won't taste that cold.

good for lunch

VERY HANDY FOR A QUICK LUNCH. A BUFFET WHICJ HAS AN OPTION OF TWENTY ITEMS. VARITY OF MOCK DISHES, AND PLANTY OF TOFU AND VEG DISHES. FOOD WAS TASTY ENOUGH, BUT AS WITH A LOT OF BUFFET MEALS, MANY ITEMS WERE COLD(ALTHOUGH I'M NOT SURE IF SOME ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SERVED COLD). PRICES ARE PER ITEM. STARTING AT MYR1, OUR TOTAL MEAL FOR TWO WAS MYR16, ABOUT 3 QUID.

Pros: QUICK, tasty , nice staff

Cons: cold

Beware of the prices for your selections

Patronise this stall a few days ago, coming up from Singapore with a group of friends. Indeed there are variety but it is more expensive compare to similiar joint like in Johore Baru.
Every month I cross over from Singapore to the southern state of Johore in Malaysia. At the prestigious City Square Complex there is a similiar Food Court. For 3 dishes plus white rice, normally I am charged between RM$4.50-5.00.
Here in KL's Berjaya Food Court, for 3 dishes plus white rice; I have to pay RM$10.50! Too EXPENSIVE for my experience since I am very familiar with Malaysian vege scene.

Pros: Air-con; clean & bright

Cons: Too Expensive
