Amazing Pho & Curry! - Edit
Tried this place out today and it has so many greatly labeled vegan options! There’s all sorts of vegan appetizers, rice bowls, Pho, noodle dishes, & curries. There truly is something for any vegan. I split part of a vegan red curry with tofu & vegan pho. Both of them were amazing!!! It’s a lil spendy but the price tag matches the portions and quality. A great treat for sure !! Also the service was nice and super fast!!!

Great options for vegans - Edit
The Buddha roll was great. We also got the Veggie Pho and the Veggie Ramen (no eggs), and they were both very flavorful. There are tons of vegan choices. We are excited to try more next time.

Only place in town for SOS free vegan - Edit
So far, the only place I can eat out with SOS (no oil, salt, sugar added) or processed vegan is Taste, which has vegan pho and a vegan sushi. The pho is quite good and there is outdoor seating.

A life saver! - Edit
Stopped in after hiking the devil’s millhopper trail nearby with two hungry and tired young children ages 2 and 3. Ordering was easy and the staff was very helpful. We got 3 types of vegan sushi and the kids got a kids meal each, and it was a perfect size for them. They got the spring rolls and noodles bento box each. The box is quite small and perfect for I would say max 7 year old to eat. We also ordered the edamame to supplement their bento boxes. We played at the huge park across the street (thank goodness it was there) while we waited for them to text us to let us know it was ready. It was fast service. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well.

Delicious!! - Edit
So happy to have found this vegan-friendly sushi restaurant. Everything was clearly labeled vegan and gluten-free. My food was delicious and I even asked for the Crunch Roll without cream cheese and they said no problem at all. Highly recommend the French Twist Roll with sweet chili sauce. Loved my meal!

We love taste! - Edit
Wish I could rate it 5 stars. While it’s not fully vegan it is definitely the best Asian place in Gainesville with options. The wait staff is highly knowledgeable and the service has been good every time we’ve went.
Read moreIf your vegetarian, my partner LOVES the crispy noodles with tofu. Unfortunately the noodles have egg in them for us vegans though.
I love the sushi. The vegan stuff is just straight vegetable sushi with tofu, but it is still really good. I also love there pho and udon soup as well as the drunken noodles. For vegans just make sure to check for egg in these, as you have to at a lot of Asian restaurants.
One thing that bums me out a bit though is that they recently changed the menu. It used to have a solely vegetarian (almost all vegan) section and now the vegetarian stuff is more integrated into the rest of the menu. It also looks like they made the menu smaller, which is fine the menu was gigantic previously, but we did loose some vegan options. The menu downsize may have also been a consequence of COVID too so I don’t half that against them.
Pros: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, Good portion for price, SUSHI!
Cons: Smaller menu now
