Phenomenal Hidden Vegan Spot - Edit
Found this place on the Happy Cow app and SO happy we did! It was a phenomenal experience. Great little gem completely unexpected in Hickory.
Read moreThey have a ton of gluten free and vegan options to choose from. I got the Veggie Wrap with GF bread and a GF Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with vegan cream cheese. My food was fantastic! I paired my food with an Iced Golden Milk with soy milk.
My husband got a Buddha Bowl and the Spinach Bites. I tried some of his Buddha Bowl and it was delicious. He paired his food with a Peach Balsamic kombucha and loved it.
Overall, great service, atmosphere and food. If this place was closer to Raleigh, I'd definitely go here more often.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Veggies, Vegan and gluten free food

Home Sweet Home - Edit
I grew up in the area, and worked here in the past, so this is home to me. It speaks volumes that as a former employee I still enjoy going here, for a lot of industry workers, it's harder to enjoy a place once you worked there.
Read moreIf the website would allow it, I would give them five stars. It is a great place to go with a group of friends who aren't all eating on the same page, maybe someone is gluten free, someone is vegan and someone else feels that it is not a meal without meat. They are very aware of top allergens and great about subbing in or out things that are problematic for individual diners.
Favorites are the people, the oat milk latte - it doesn't need anything in it because the milk and the espresso are lovely on their own. Favorite dish here is the quinoa bowl, but other things you have to try is the super smooth, house made hummus, and the black bean wrap. The nice thing about their website is when you order the black bean wrap they have a drop down giving you your substitution options for the yogurt sauce. I like mine with the garlic sauce. Their black, green, AND herbal tea selection is incredible as well. I highly recommend an iced strawberry sangria tea.
Pros: Great food, Low prices, Friendly staff
Cons: It can get loud when crowded. Solution: takeout.

cute! - Edit
Cute atmosphere, some options for vegans like a black bean, avocado, sweet potato, and greens wrap and the spring vegetable soup. Offers teas and coffees, my mom said those were tasty.
