A street food tour that visits many different vendors throughout the city. All of the eight stops were suitable for vegans in that they had vegan options at each one. Open Mon-Sat 11:00am-2:00pm.

Really valuable experience

Foodbuddies is a street food tour which has several tours over Mauritius. The Port Louis tour took us to 8 spots where we were able to try authentic food which happened to be vegan (mostly). In our stops, we had roti, banana pastries, Mauritian tropical fruit salad, dholl puri, fried noodles (the dumplings at this stop had meat/fish so not suitable), a sweet potato/coconut treat, a rice/black lentl treat and tamarind/orange/lemon drink. Along the tour, we learnt about some history of Mauritius and Port Louis. A very very good tour that belongs on Happy Cow so others can experience the street foods. The cost was €35.
