Great Caribbean Food and Vegan Food Options - Edit
If you are looking for some authentic Caribbean food, here's another great review for you 😁 We stopped by Tashes Ankh Caribbean Restaurant at their new location on Liberty Rd. The restaurant was very neat, clean, organized and brightly lit. The sit-in area was very spacious, clean, and plenty of free parking. 5⭐
Read moreMy spouse tried the curry chicken, rice, peas with cabbage platter and said it was so delicious, tender chicken, the cabbage medley were crisp, and the rice and peas were great and everything was seasoned well. I saw that they have a nice vegan menu and decided to try the curry salmon with rice, peas and cabbage. It was Divine, flavorful and saucy. They also give very nice portions. 5⭐
I would definitely call to order ahead before going if you don't want to wait because they appeared to be very busy when we visited them. Anything on the vegan menu is cooked to order and will be ready in 30 minutes, everything else is about 15-20 mins wait time. If you are in the area, try them out and let us know what you think! We want to know! Tasty but long wait and not great service - Edit
So after reading prior reviews, my friend and I called ahead to order. We first called to ask questions, and that person seemed clueless about vegan options and had to ask someone our questions. When we called back to actually order, the different person who answered was extremely snappy and full of attitude when we asked questions or asked them to repeat our order to make sure they got it all. When we got there 25 minutes later, it wasn’t ready for another 5-10 minutes. My friend and I tried 3 entrees (vegan lemon chicken, vegan citrus ribs, ital stew) and 2 patties (Impossible beef and veggies), and we liked all of it (including sides of rice&beans and sautéed veggies). We had enough food for at least one more meal each.

Tiny but tasty - Edit
This spot is tiny and fills fast. Experienced a long wait but it’s probably because they are so popular. Not a real seating area but this is cool for Caribbean carry-out. The pineapple ginger juice is awesome!

4 pounds of food per entree - Edit
If you appreciate mock meats and dense/rich/thick/filling meals, this Jamaican carryout place in the Milford Mill shopping center (Randallstown/Windsor Mill) has your meal. I purchased the Ginger Chicken and the Lotus Ribs meals and left with 8 pounds of vegetarian food to go. Agreeing with previous reviews that the staff is friendly and helpful, you must give them 20 minutes to prepare the flavorful food.
Read moreHearty meals include a cabbage-based side and a side of brown rice and beans. The containers were overstuffed. I got 4 meals from each entree at $12 each. Seriously, I weighed myself before eating one of the four servings and was one pound heavier afterward.
While waiting for the food, I enjoyed an Irish Moss homemade juice (blended-type smoothie). It was a slightly sweet blend of veggies and cannot recall what was in it. I also partook in a Grapenut ice-cream(nonvegan).
Their prices are very good for getting 4 servings per entree and the juice was cheap, too.
Pros: Large, filling portion sizes at low cost, Flavorful, filling food, 11 entrees on a specific Vegetarian menu section
Cons: Take-out only, Not sure whether vegan or vegetarian

5-star flavor - Edit
Very warm and friendly staff. Highly efficient too! this is my first meal here and I enjoyed it tremendously, the dessert was delicious as well.

Since the vegan items take 20 minutes to prepare, they ask that orders be called in ahead of time. However, they do not mind if you wait for your order.
Pros: I pretty much covered the pros in my review.
Cons: Most of the vegan items are made with soy. There a
