Tasty Iraqi food - Edit
They have a few vegan options and some very refreshing homemade drinks. They gave us a complementary lentil soup with our order which was delicious. Their fresh fresh is perfect dipped in their hummus. Good place to go with non vegan friends.

Animal fat - Edit
I remember this place being good when I went to the cute shop in Bukit Bintang last year. This time, I ordered it on Grab and was disgusted. Lentil soup and tomato beans had some chunky, sort of lamb or goat tallow in it - why?? I suppose it was my mistake for not calling them to be sure (I was sure I checked at least the lentil soup when I got it last time in-store). I did specify "vegan" in the order notes but I've always known there's a risk of stores not reading those. Whatever it is, I won't blame them for giving me the items made with (really quite disgusting) animal products, but I'm leaving this here as a warning to be very careful with your orders. The 2-star-rating because it's not that vegan-friendly after all (particularly for Grab delivery), and because the mezze bowl was a really small portion for its price. The packaging wasn't great either; soups and runny sauces shouldn't be packed in those hard lidded boxes. Bad experience, but I might try again in-store and be much more careful next time.

Meh. - Edit
I just really wasn’t impressed by this at all. I thought the pictures looked good and I really fancied some good hummus/falafel. I ordered the falafel sandwich, which came with fries. There was a decent amount of food so I was full. But it wasn’t that tasty or exciting at all. It had 3 small falafel on it which were fine, not the best, some grilled aubergine and a little bit of chopped cucumber and tomato. The bread was quite nice and soft.
Read moreIt’s also very expensive in my opinion. I got the sandwich because it was RM17. The mezze bowl looks good but is over double the price at RM45.

Bit pricey but delicious food - Edit
I had the Mezze Bowl which comes with a big fresh flatbread. And a pretty good lentil soup (for every dish, as far a I understood). At first sight the portion is not much but with the bread it is more than sufficient.
Read moreThe bread is fresh from the oven, the hummus extremely good. The rest of the bowl is also pretty good, but the hummus is definetely the highlight.
The menu is a bit confusing and the green V (for vegetarian) is not to be trusted. But reading carefully and asking the staff helps.
The staff is friendly even though appears a bit rough.
The prices are pretty high. Even if you get good quality and a nicely filling portion, in the area you can eat cheaper.
Still, worth it, if you like arabic cuisine.
Definetely worth to give it a try.

tasty food - Edit
really tasty food and a good amount of options, vegetarian dishes labelled but not vegan and when i asked the staff she knew what was veggie but again not vegan so stuck with things that wouldn’t have a risk of dairy which is fine but would have been nice to know what could definitely be eaten. all the food was super tasty though and really worth a try. the only other negative was that the service wasn’t amazing and we waited quite a while for someone to take our order however wasn’t much of an issue but another table did walk out due to this.

Sehr leckere Sandwiches. Man kriegt sie mit Pommes dazu. Wir hatten je ein Sandwich und dazu noch den Humus. Es war so viel, dass wir ein halbes Sandwich nachhause genommen haben.

No sandwiches but you can still have a feast. - Edit
Unfortunately it is true that the bread the sandwiches come on isn't vegan😒however the waitress was amazing and went through the whole menu telling us what we could have. We had a feast!! Lentil soup, falafel, roasted veggies, hummus, fries and loads of their flat bread which is vegan. All delicious and plenty of food!!

Not all the bread is vegan - Edit
The samoon bread contains milk, which means the sandwich options are not vegan. The flat bread (which is huge!) is vegan.
Read moreThe tahini sauce contains yoghurt and the garlic sauce contains egg (in the mayo).
The houmous and roasted vegetables dish (which both came with a flat bread) were delicious and came to 24.20 RM with tax and service charge.

Sadly for us it was quite busy when we went so the waiters were kind of annoyed for us coming and also kept forgetting our order but tbh the bread kind of makes up that

Charged me significantly more without telling me - Edit
I wanted to order the falafel sandwich and the waitress told me that I could also get a mix of the falafel and the vegetable sandwich. I said okay. In the end they charged me RM17 instead of the normal RM10 for the sandwich without telling me up front when I ordered. The sandwich was good but really dry, they should have used hummus or babaganoush in it. The fries were too salty. The coffee wasn’t great neither. Wouldn’t go again and wouldn’t recommend!

This is hands down the best falafel place I've been to. If only they didnt servw meat! The decor was lovely, the staff were beyond friendly and helpful and the food was crazy delicious. I asked what was vegan and she quickly went through the menu with me, even letting me know what sauce was vegan. The lentil soup with flatbread in particular was to die for.

Great vegetarian options - Edit
I stayed nearby and visited frequently for their lentil soup and salad. The soup is delicious, it’s just 5RM, really big plate and comes with fresh bread.
Read moreThe waitress there was super nice too, she figured I was vegan from my order, warned me that sandwich comes with mayo and suggested another sauce that didn’t have animal products. Staff is knowledgeable about the menu, just explain them what you don’t eat and they will suggest alternative.
Not once they forgot about the straw too (I always ask not to give me one but usually get it anyway, here they were very attentive about it).

Great fast food - Edit
The restaurant is very well decorated inside, a lot of space and there is tables outside also. Staff is helpful and always welcoming. I came here many times to eat falafel sandwich with fries on the side (RM10). I hope they add markings on the menu, that says if it's vegan, vegetarian, contain milk or egg ect. Try their iraqi coffee, it's delicious.
