We really like the food. The tzatziki was from mayo rather than yogurt. So not the taste we were looking for. They had a home made balieys. It tastes good but not quite the baileys' taste. Too dense and chocolatey. Probably the cheepest in Thessaloniki. Well worth the price but nothing exeptional.

Read moreThe restaurant offers a great variety of vegan versions of traditional Greek food. The portions are a bit smaller so it’s recommended to take two different meals per person, but they are very cheap. My recommendation is to go there with a bigger group of people, order lots of different dishes and share them all. This was the best experience!
Highly recommending the Spetsofai as it was my favorite dish, but really almost everything there is worth a try!

Wonderful food and very reasonable prices! I went specifically for the pastisio, but the server kindly informed me it takes 35 mins to bake and I had a flight to catch. I ordered the fried mushrooms at his suggestion, along with the saganaki and chocolate dessert. All were delicious, especially the dessert. Highly recommend!

I never thought I would eat Greek food again after going vegan, but my wildest dreams came trough. They have it all: tzatziki, saganaki, pastitsio, Greek salad with feta and more.

Try fried mushrooms and saganaki - Edit
In Thessaloniki, there are very few completely vegan restaurants. I tried one of them, #tarantulathessaloniki. We had fried cheese (saganaki), fried mushrooms, and Dakos salad. A single portion is enough for two people, as portions tend to be large in Greece.
Read moreAmong the dishes we tried, I liked the fried mushrooms the most. They were crispy with a great balance of flavors, offering a mix of tanginess and spiciness.
Saganaki is made from tofu, with a potato mixture on the outside, then it’s fried. It’s crispy on the outside and has a warm, firm cheese texture inside. I had it with lemon and really enjoyed it.
The salad portion was quite large, with a flavorful dressing, making it a satisfying choice. It includes crispy bread within. It’s a salad that can also be enjoyed for breakfast.
The ambiance was lovely, offering both outdoor garden seating and indoor options. The music played was also nice. I would go again and highly recommend it.

One of the best spots to eat at in Thessaloniki - Edit
I had the best vegan feta in this place. At night it’s really busy but it’s worth the wait. The food is really cheap and absolutely delicious. They also serve wonderful vegan tzatziki and the staff is really nice. Definitely will go back there if I ever go to Thessaloniki again.
