Really good nopal - Edit
My partner is Mexican and it's hard to find Mexican restaurants with vegan options. The nopal Tacos were really good and grilled perfectly. They left the cheese off for me and it could have used some kind of sauce instead, but still great by itself.

Delicious and authentic - Edit
I got the El Nopal burrito which has cactus, rice, and potatoes. It was sooo good! You definitely get what you pay for here, I ordered takeout and the portion fed me for two days lol.

Fantastic - Edit
Amazing authentic Mexican restaurant. Everything was so tasty and fresh, you can tell they make them in house. I had the 2 vegan taco options they had, and they were both shockingly good. Other than tacos, they have vegan burritos and some other options. My boyfriend tried to shrimp and steak tacos and said the same exact thing.

AMAZING - Edit
I am not a spicy person at all, so I got the El Vegan and it was legitimately the best Mexican food I have ever had. I’m so picky and can always find something to complain about food wise, but this burrito was perfect.

Voy a volver a Los Mayas! - Edit
I told the server I was vegan and I ordered the Nopal Con Papas Taco (cactus with potatoes), and the El Vegan Burrito (see previous review). I loaded up at the salsa bar with fresh cilantro, limes, tomatillo salsa and the pickled onion hot salsa. Everything was seriously delicious. I'm definitely coming back to try more and see what other plates are (or can be made) vegan. I'd like to build off the excellent previous review and compile a list of other vegan options.

El Vegan - Edit
The vegan menu here is somewhat limited, but both vegan burritos are great. El Vegan has rice, mushrooms (the mushrooms are so good), guac, corn, et cetera. El Nopal is a spicy cactus burrito. People that like their food extra spicy will love Los Mayas' salsa bar (they have mild options too), which features a pickled red onion topping that is fantastic, but EXTREMELY spicy. Apply with caution. Their black beans are vegan, the refried beans are not. The veggie fajita plate (hold the sour cream and cheese) is an excellent value. The portion is massive, totally shareable.
