Very nice vegan options - Edit
Vegan options clearly marked on the menu. We tried the Soya curry, rice, vegan roti, masala chips, okra fries and beer battered bhajis. Everything was very tasty. Service was also excellent. Unfortunately we are not local, but I'll definitely return if I'm in the area again.

So disappointed in Tap and Tandoor, I've been ordering takeaway for ages until October when I decided to eat their for my birthday with all my friends and family. I had a couple of people showing up late so the manager kept telling me he is going to take a table off me. (Late by 10 mins minimum) Still I did not let it ruin the night.
Went again last Sunday with my work colleagues as I said they had a lot of vegan food. After ordering I was told that my food labeled vegan was not vegan. I asked why it stated vegan on the menu. I had 3 different staff members coming back and forth to tell me that the food was not vegan but then for them to say it was. I have an allergy to dairy. My colleague needed halal food to be told that all meat/chips etc is cooked in the same oil. So disappointed would not recommend. The manager is also rude af
Pros: Nothing, Nothing, Nothing
Cons: Rude staff, Unsure if vegan/inaccurate menu, Dismissive

Looking forward to our next visit - Edit
Really enjoyed our trip to Tap & Tandoor. Great atmosphere, with the football on, brilliant service, and delicious food.
Read moreWe had between 2 of us the beer battered onion bhaji, soya keema, soya curry, mogo fries, and a rice, which was a perfect amount of food (we have good appetites).
It was nice to be able to try some thing we've never tried before (keema) and to have a good vegan bhaji, and the soya curry was delicious.
There was a good selection of beer on too, cherry on the top would be if they marked which beers were vegan, but it's easy enough to check barnivore.
Will definitely be back to try everything else.
Pros: Great service, Unusual vegan options

Great food, great beer - Edit
Although it serves meat dishes this is a great place for vegans/veggies. We had the vegan mixed grill for two, the tarka dahl and the beer-battered onion bhajis which were delicious 😋 also football on the TV in the bar 😄

Modern style Indian restaurant - Edit
A converted pub on Solihull High Street. Find your own table and wait for service.
Read moreThere were several beer options from a chalkboard. I was offered a general menu and knew to ask for a vegan menu, which was extensive considering it was not offered.
I had soya tikka kebab with chutney to start and then a mushroom soya curry in a hot tomato sauce with plain rice. All delicious. Friendly service and good quality food. I will go back next time I'm around there.
Pros: Good surroundings, Vegan menu, Friendly service
Cons: Needed to ask for vegan menu
